I had lots of work done. Ty is fair and the most honest and straight forward guys in this industry I have ever met. Gives multiple options at what you want for the $$. Would recommend

Bike was stranded on the interstate..Ty came to the rescue immediately! Oh, and I do need to mention that ANY work Ty has done for me never has needed to go back for a tweak or something. Plus he's a nice guy...even though you may just want the bike fixed.
Had both my front and rear tire replaced at Ty's last week, also the drive chain and gears. They took great care of me, saved me hundreds of dollars compared to the big-name rip-off shops, and got me back on the road in less than a week. Ty and all the shop mechanics were really friendly and extremely knowledgeable. There was even a small leak that they noticed while doing the service, but instead of charging me to fix it, since it was so small and a pretty easy fix, explained to me how to fix it myself and saved me another hundred or so in parts and labor. They might have sent that one service away, but in doing so they got a customer for life. Ty and his crew care about bikes and riders more than turning a profit - which is far more than can be said of the big-name stores. Don't hesitate! If you've got a repair, need some regular maintenance, or just have a question you want answered by a REAL mechanic (and not a "technician"), call Ty and set up some time to swing by. You won't regret the decision!
I've heard nothing but good comments about Ty's, so when I developed a problem with my bike, he was the first guy that I thought of. That gamble payed off! Very nice guy, made my feel like MY problem with MY bike was HIS priority, fixed the problem when he said that he would fix i,t and it was a very fair price. A diamond-in-the-rough.
Ty's Cycles is a very friendly and neighborhood oriented business. Ty is probably one of the best Motorcycle Mechanics in the Maryland/DC area. He is very knowledgeable and personably.
One of the most friendly and helpful shops I have ever been to. It may be in a rough neighborhood but don't let that shy you away. Visit these fine folks to get your work done and you will not be disappointed.
