Excellent fish and chips! Good value for money. Looked forward to our meal and was not disappointed. Batter was light and fluffy on the cod. Will go back again. Take out was excellent with the carry bag exclusive to Ty Cod. Very happy!

Amazing fish and chips. very friendly staff and very clean inside. They opened early as we were standing outside waiting for it to open by 5pm.

Just had an excellent ending to a lovely week in the local area. The fish and chips, both the cod and haddock were lovely, along with the chips.

Fish & Chip shop, new owners recently. Order in person and wait, or come back after a while. Always a queue.

Some of the best fish and chips we've ever had! Cooked really well, not at all greasy, light crispy batter on fish. Good size portion and very reasonably priced too. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely revisit in the future.

We have had a lovely weeks holiday on Llyn, staying just outside Morfa Nefyn and your fish and chips were a tasty last evening meal.

Both chips and fish were nicely cooked and the batter light and not greasy.

What an improvement! We really enjoyed our fish and chips last night (not at all greasy). Newly renovated, clean, friendly staff! Locals were really nice to our 5 year old boy.

We own a cottage in Edern and always recommend your shop.

My 9 year old son asked very politely did they have any more big forks as there was only one left and we were buying 3 X fish and chips to be told no. Moments later a welsh speaking person asked, I assume the same question, and was given forks and the tub was filled up again. When collecting our 3 X fish and chips I asked could I have a bag please, I was told “why do you want one?”. Everyone local was given one without asking for it. In summary if you are local expect good service and good food. If you are not and on holiday, I have been going to the area for 9 years as I have a caravan locally putting money into the small town, avoid like the plague you will be treated like an outsider and the food was also very greasy none of us finished our food which we waited over 30 mins for. The previous owners were miles better with quality and service.
