Best KPortal Reviews

Scratch-made restaurant featuring cheetah print carpet, signed memorabilia, and a band stand. Started with hand battered fried mushrooms -- so fresh and piping hot. Worked on a side salad (that had fresh made croutons). Ordered blackened chicken with mashed potatoes & green beans. The mashed potatoes were real and had nice chunks of potato. The rolls are so buttery and fluffy.
Made room for dessert because everything else was tasty. Enjoyed a nut pie ala mode and chocolate bread pudding!
This was a really nice experience for lunch! Great atmosphere with Blues playing in the background and the service can’t be beat! We had the Cajun Chicken sandwich & Chicken Fried Steak and both were excellent. Homemade and fresh!! You can’t beat the price as well, considering most fast food joints charge $12-$15 for JUNK. Highly recommend this place!
I live in Fort Worth, Texas but every time I come to Oklahoma, I always stop in here. They have great food. The atmosphere is so inviting especially for old hippies like me. the staff is amazing. I recommend the steak or the catfish but I’m sure everything is delicious.
This place is like a Shoney's with a Hard Rock Cafe vibe and good food.
There is plenty of parking and plenty of space inside.
There is a small stage for live music and guitars and autographed pictures of musical artists on the wall and it features a black and white tiled floor.
The food and service were great. I had the surf and turf and my wife had the catfish.
I have heard such great things about this place and was SO excited to go. The atmosphere is cool as hell. It’s decorated really neat and I bet it’s a really fun place to go when it’s hoppin. The service was meh. Our waitress was nice but slow and made excuses constantly. “Oh you weren’t here when I asked everyone for their drink order” Then we still had to ask someone else to bring the drink out because she never brought it. She told us she was making a new pot of coffee because it was old. But it had already been awhile that we had asked for some. Felt like an excuse. It was little things like that over and over. The food.. The food was honestly not even that good. The mashed potatoes had a fishy taste to them that made them literally inedible. The chicken fried steak was good, the okra was old and chewy tasting. The frog legs are amazing and the crawfish appetizer was amazing also. The lemon pepper chicken was really good. So they do have items that are really good. I just wish it was consistent. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back we came here passing through town from a cruise. I might give em another shot next time we cruise just because of the frog legs. Other than that it’s not really worth it to me.
Our server A.J. is great and made sure we were well taken care of. Upsold us some items and was a great Server. Our first time but not our last, we'll see you next time A.J.!!!
(edited) I think I accidentally pocket rated this. The app must have asked me for a review when the phone was in my pocket. I got a message that Aubrey or the staff had replied to my review and decided to have a look. When I did I new that I hadn't consciously given the rating because it was only 4 stars and I hadn't made a comment. Here is the correction:
The food and service are consistently very good. If I have friends in town, I know I can bring them here and they'll find something they like. The atmosphere is relaxed and good most of the time. It's electric when they have live music! They bring in a lot of great acts and it's a cool venue.
The catfish was good very thin sliced and had very little flavor, okra was good fries was cold, beer big and cold. Our waitress was very polite. Price not bad that was a surprise.. I give it 4 stars, the atmosphere seems very dry. Yes we was sat way far back. Not sure why but our waitress was the best.
