Traditional British food café , hosted by very polite & friendly staff !! . The two café was a pleasure to visit , & was very clean & well set out with plenty of space between tables upon my visit . The decor is British modern contemporary & the vibe is cozy & relaxing with a bright interior that features some British inspired artwork which all adds to the two's atmosphere . The food on offer is very good value for money & is of a home cooked style & cooked freshly to order & not kept under heat lamps !! So you may have to wait a while as you would expect !! , This is not a fast food approach to your dining experience & it is good food cooked well & it works . The daily special is a good value option & I had a minted lamb pie with a basket of chips & a jug of gravy , the pie appeared to be hand crafted & had a good meat content , which was not processed !! , but quality butchered meat , which was most tasty , plus the chips served were done well with no oil or fat residue , which is a nice touch !! Gravy served on the side in a jug was also a nice touch , all making it a little bit special , especially for such reasonable cost . The café also has a good choice of meals & snacks all sensibly priced & the cooked dinner options are excellent value & are ideal for the single diner or families alike . So if you like traditional British food & good service @ reasonable prices then the two for tea may be the café for you . RECOMMEND FOR THE MINTED LAMB PIE !! Which goes well with a nice cup of tea to finish your meal the perfect pairing of British classics !! .

Lovely breakfast at Two for Tea. Delicious small English breakfast at a good price. Rather empty this morning, but it was very cold outside. Plenty to seating and lots of menu choices.
Friendly staff, not made to feel rushed or bothered. Love the decor, very reasonable prices and my child loved it in there. Great to visit to escape life for half a hour. Food was really nice and we'll cooked/presented.
First visit today as I heard about the vegan options on offer. Wasn't disappointed. Actually, I was overjoyed. Whilst not a huge selection, they have plenty of sweet and savoury options to keep anyone happy, plus various items to buy in the shop.
The dishes they do have are well considered and seem to be down to the experience of an actual vegan diet rather than the typical afterthought you get at most chains. Also: caaaaakes ????

Two for Tea is a wonderful tea room with lots of interesting gifts and the best vegan food section in Nottingham. The staff are really friendly, the menu is excellent (go for waffles for breakfast!) and there are always gluten free and vegan options. Also stocks (and serves) tea from the Rutland Tea Co
Perfect service both times I've been with my partner. A really friendly, family environment from start to finish. The food is delicious and the lovely doggy Stanley to top it off. Pure perfection :)
Came here today based on good reviews especially for vegan options but am very disappointed, firstly as they couldn't give us cooked food as they said they were closing at 3pm and we asked for hot food at 2.20pm, so we ordered the vegan wrap and a panini and two coffees, the vegan wrap had fake chicken in and nothing else and was very dry served with a little bit of salad and a few crisps. We said we were very disappointed and they said as they were closing the kitchen there was no salad left even though we got salad on the side? No compensation was offered for our disappointment and the bill came to £16, I have never felt so ripped off and wonder where all those amazing reviews came from.
