Excellent experience this morning. Visiting from out of town, early arrival flight, and we happened to search for breakfast options... the Twisted Egg was along our route.
From the outside it looked inviting, so we decided to eat here... glad we did too!
They had just opened and we were maybe the 3rd table to arrive. By the time we got coffee the place was filling up. It appeared a blend of "regulars" and newbies.
We sat in the corner booth... excellent vibe!
Our server was DELIGHTFUL... loved her personality and attentiveness.
I ordered the Hangover... wowzer! that was delicious, and exactly the right kind of flavorful spicy! Hubby ordered the Smothered Burrito. We both added a short stack and while it was certainly WAY too much to finish... we were both very full and satisfied, content to eat and leave the excess.
While there we met the owner, Suzie. She was quite friendly and chatty. She served tables coffee refills and seemed to genuinely love the work. I really liked her
She informed us that for Mother's Day they're opening early all weekend (7am!) to accommodate the "busiest breakfast weekend of the year." So if you're looking for a place to celebrate your Mother... I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Twisted Egg... but might I suggest arriving early. ????

Got here right at 8AM Sunday morning and was eating by 8:30. The first photo is the Twisted Madamme, which was very well done the second biscuits and gravy benedict. The hand made biscuits were excellent. In fact the whole dish was and the hash browns were perfect. The service was excellent. The only gripe was that the coffee was a bit too robust for our liking. But recommended overall.
My wife and I decided to visit this spot on a early Saturday morning whelm.. Great atmosphere, Great service! The music was upbeat and inviting and our hostess was pleasant.. The food’s presentation was even on point. Unfortunately all of those great things did not equate to a flavorful meal.. The food lacked flavor.. I would only recommend if you have an a dietary restriction for msg and/or other seasonings! I’m glad it was only $50, or I would have been pissed???? Sorry guys..
We stumbled across this place randomly and I couldn't be more pleased. Great food, great service and a nice kids menu! The chile relleno omelet was to die for and my kiddo loved the chocolate chip pancakes. My husband tried the chillaquiles and he said it was close to perfect ???? ☺️ we will definitely be back
So, we first visited on Sunday, March 10th, 2024 at noon and the place was jam packed. The service was great, but we did end up waiting for 45 minutes to be told they ran out of tortillas for our breakfast burritos. So we waited another 15 and ended up having to take our order to go, as we had an appointment. The burritos were good, and could have been better if the green chili was inside as well as smothered. Our server was kind enough to comp the bill and we left a generous tip.
Two days later, I invited my friend to have lunch, and it was delicious. The server misinterpreted her order and brought her chicken fried chicken instead of chicken fried steak, but she was gracious and did not send it back. Service would have been 5 star if not for this mishap. I had the one biscuit and gravy and added an egg, with a side of pancakes that I took home. The star of the show was the bacon mornay sauce that I ordered for a small upcharge, but it was worth the extra dollar.
If you're looking for a great breakfast/lunch place, look no further ???? ???? Can't wait to go back and order the chicken fried steak with bacon mornay..... yay! I also posted pics of the new (vertical) menu...... fyi
Very infrequently have I been to a breakfast restaurant that really sticks in my head. This place does it. Perfectly executed eggs Benedict and what might be the best sausage gravy I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming atop a delightful biscuit. Stop here.
Our family loves a good brunch spot and we were so excited to try Twisted Egg. We stopped in last weekend and had a great experience! The restaurant was busy but we were seated in a very reasonable amount of time. The menu had a nice variety of options for both breakfast and lunch. Our party ordered both breakfast and lunch, and everyone was happy with their food orders. The food came out quickly, which surprised me given the busyness. The portions were big, even for the kids meals, and the prices of the kids meals are unbeatable! The food was high quality - even just the plain black coffee was delicious! We can’t wait to go back!
Gave this new place a shot, but it is worse than new day cafe. In a not busy morning, took a while for the server to come. Since so, we hurried and ordered our food. My husband asked twice for water, it never came. Food took forever to be ready. We left. Never come back again. No wonder new day cafe owner sold this place. He knows what he was doing.
