I come here for breakfast and brunch on occasion. The food is always spot on. Probably the best breakfast in Chicago. The french toast is the best I’ve ever had. I love the lemonade carafes too. I always bring out of town guests here. Huge portions, reasonable prices, and fast service. Everyone here is always so nice.
Great food and large portions! Every table receives the yummy coffee cake and a serving of fresh fruit. Highly recommend the pumpkin pancakes. Quick service, too - faster than a Mexican restaurant (lol). It's VERY loud, so not great for conversation; we joking said it'd be a great "break-up" spot due to the noise and over-attentive service. ????

As a neighborhood resident, I frequent the establishment regularly, drawn in by its consistently pleasant atmosphere. The diverse menu ensures there's something for everyone, complemented by an imaginative and extensive cocktail selection. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me a bit disheartened. I acknowledge Saturday brunch can be bustling, but being demanded to leave moments after paying was disappointing. While I understand the demand for tables, a more considerate approach would be appreciative.
We found this place by accident and loved it. We will definitely return. Excellent food and wait staff. Our waiter was very engaging in conversation in a variety of topics, explaining the food and helping with selection for my plant-based needs. I had tofu added to my lunch, and it came out with large slabs of delicious tofu. The amount given was amazing for the added charge. Well worth it. The atmosphere is wonderful. We will be back to try other options.

They have a wide selection of cheap alcoholic drinks, teas, and shakes. Solid, good food that's tasty and filling. I had a delicious waffle and their homemade corned beef.
Be aware it's cash only but they have an ATM available.
This is an adorable restaurant. I loved the ambiance as well as the food. Husband is a vegan. They had a delicious bowl that he really enjoyed.

Ordered my fave chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. Delicious. I haven't been there since I moved from Chicago. So happy their standards haven't changed
Great cozy brunch spot! First time trying this place but I will be returning. Complimentary breakfast pastry when sat, fresh fruit sides, and a fun drink menu. My friends and I love brunch so we all had our own meal and table French toast to share. Chilaquiles is one of my go-tos and they did a great job. It had a lot of flavor and the serving size in generous. Can't wait to go back and try new things!
