Nice ambiance the vibe was very chill. Food was flavorful and filling as always and the service was friendly and efficient. This was my first time at this location and was impressed. They were able to quickly accommodate our large party and checked on us regularly. I really enjoyed the background music as well, they played music from a many genres so there was something for everyone. We also ordered roasted beats which were really good they had pistachios and goat cheese. We also had garlic knots that were literally perfect with lots of garlic and ever so soft. In the past I chose pizza but decided to get pasta this time and was NOT disappointed. All around great menu!
Shout out to bartender Donavan, hands down he makes the best strawberry margarita in the area. I recommend all the pizzas on the menu. You really cannot go wrong. If pizza is not your thing, grab a salad ???? refreshing on a warm day. Per my experience, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
The food I had in this italian restaurant was quite good. I ordered a burrata with peperonata as a starter and a pizza Margherita with additional mushrooms as a main dish. I would order the same items next time as I liked it. Only the service was a bit inattentive at the beginning, as they forgot my drink I ordered, but then got better. And in one part of the restaurant the floor was completely wet, just as if they had forgotten to wipe it away. Nevertheless I would return.
Tried mushroom bruschetta and it was tasty. Eggplant pizza was unique and tasty. Pasta was okay. Good service. Place was kinda empty on a Friday afternoon.
Roberto and Leonardo pizzas were outstanding!!! Will definitely come back. FYI if you order online buy 3 get one free pizza deal. Fantastic!!
We went to Tutta Bella for NYE and had an amazing time. The food and drinks were excellent, the service was above and beyond, everyone was nice to us, the view of the fireworks was great. Shout out to Natalie, Andrew, and others for making our night so special. In addition to all of that, we still got a bag of New Year gifts that was very thoughtful. Would highly recommend for a meal and for special events!
If you're looking for legit Neapolitan pizza, this is it! Tucked away above Whole Foods, I was seated right away when I walked in. Great hospitality, and kudos to my server for recommending that a 13" pizza was probably too much after the other items I ordered and the 10" would suffice (he was totally right).
Roasted cauliflower was good, and I liked the tangy lemon flavor. Castelvetrano olives are my favorite, and these were great quality (note they are not pitted). I don't eat tomatoes, so the Roberto pizza was a good fit and I like to try uncommon recipes. I am super critical of pizza, and here's my assessment:
Crust: 5/5 - truly perfect for Neapolitan style, just the right thickness in the middle, soft and fluffy around the outer edge. Great flavor and chewiness.
Sauce: 5/5 - olive oil base, with ground pistachios. An usual combination with a lot of flavor, and the nuts provided an awesome texture with each bite.
Toppings: 4/5 - nice amount of sausage and two types of mozz. I feel like it could have used just a few more leaves of basil, but what it had gave some bites a nice pop of flavor. Basil paired with pistachios produces a yummy pesto flavor I wish there was a bit more of, but it can be tricky to balance such a potent ingredient.
Preparation: 5/5 - Just a beautiful and delicious pizza all around, with a nice oven fired char flavor. My table was within viewing distance of the oven, so I enjoyed watching the pie chef's technique which was spot on.
I plan to recommend this place if my friends or coworkers are in the mood for pizza, and look forward to returning. The only critical thing I noticed during my visit were cooks eating food at the pasta station, which is taboo both in the eyes of the restaurant biz and health department.
Great atmosphere, good service, disappointing food.
Let’s start with the positives. The patio dining was great in the middle of the Seattle summer. The server was nice and friendly, the food was taking a bit long but we went during off-hours, so they may be a bit short staffed. Great place to hangout and relax for an afternoon.
Despite the food took so long to come, the taste was really disappointing. We ordered 4 dishes and two drinks, most was quite bland.
The best dish was their summer salad, the flavor was amazing and balanced, the arugula went really well with the peaches and the burrata cheese really gave the spicers up the texture. The nectarines could be fresher, it’s a bit too ripened for the dish, but good taste and flavor overall. My second favorite is their Prosciutto and burrata, the prosciutto wasn’t overly salty or fatty, and went really well with the burrata the bread. So I guess if these were the only two dishes I ordered I would’ve given a higher rating… but I came here for their pizza…
Ok the pizza. We got their summer special which the pistachios were really flavorful, I have never had pistachios on pizza before but this was surprisingly tasty. However the mortadella tasted just like lunch meat, at this point I feel like I might as well be eating lunch meat, just the low sodium version. It’s at least cheaper and it can achieve the same taste and texture. The ricotta topping was a bit too much for me after the first slice, but my husband enjoyed it so I think that’s more about personal preference. This is something anyone can imitate at home to be honest, and you can really get the same dish by using roasted then crushed pistachios and bake your crust, then add low sodium lunch meat on top with blended ricotta. I wouldn’t recommend the summer special pizza.
The most disappointing dish was the cauliflower. I looked forward to it as it’s supposed to be flavored with anchovy and I’m a huge fan of fish in general. When in reality, the dish had no anchovy flavor (I wondered how you make a fish not fishy), very over cooked, and rather bland. I almost hope they used frozen cauliflowers as it wouldn’t been a waste of fresh ingredients to achieve such mushy texture. Tasted very much like mass produced cafeteria food.
What also really sucked with our experience was the drink. My husband doesn’t drink alcohol but I do, I ordered a drink and he ordered the only drink on the menu that provided a nonalcoholic option. But they managed to swap our alcoholic options, so my drink was made with water rather than gin and he actually had an alcoholic one. We exchanged our drink after we found out, but the drink he ordered was just too herbal for my taste, and I was not a fan of the strong flavors.
Overall unless I’m starving and there’s absolutely no food to eat, I really would recommend going downstairs to the WholeFoods and get their hot food instead. The tastes are comparable but you are only spending a fraction of the money. This is a nice place to hangout though, so if you are hanging out with a large group of people and worry about food being too flavorful, this might be a good choice… just make sure every drinks or doesn’t drink alcohol.
