Decent service. Reasonably priced. Partner said her burger was 1st class. My pizza however was pretty tasteless (she agreed). Was weird how bland it was to be honest. The sauce in particular tasted of nothing (weird as there was something on the menu with San Marzano tomatoes - the worlds best).
Excellent food and service and a nice buzzy atmosphere.
Amazing brunch again. Showed up just as brunch service had ended but the waitress kindly let us on order. Quickly becoming my favourite place!
My son booked a table for 4 for Mother’s Day for breakfast. My wife and I arrived on time and my son and daughter had arrived earlier and were already seated. We waited for 20 minutes before anyone came over and that was only after my daughter went over and asked one of the 4 waiting staff for a menu. The staff had been standing by the bar since we arrived and were aware we were there. Some sort of acknowledgement would have been appreciated. I think there were only 4 tables occupied when we arrived so it’s not as if the place was busy. It was a bit disappointing to be ignored as we’d had good and prompt service on previous visits when the place was a lot busier. We placed our drinks orders which were only tea and coffees (and a Bloody Mary which arrived 1st) and most arrived with the exception of one coffee which came once we reminded the staff. My second coffee only arrived when I also reminded the staff.
It was annoying that we were being asked if everything was ok once the food had been served (the food was fine) but we just didn’t feel that the staff were all that bothered in serving us - until challenged. It was more annoying to see a larger party than ours come in shortly after us and be served almost immediately. I could understand if the restaurant was full but if was far from it.
Somewhat disappointed with the service we received though the food was fine and so were the drinks ...when we finally got them.
Recently there with a big group and all was great except cocktails. First off, staff were phenomenal. Excellent customer service and cannot fault. Additionally food preordered (due to group size) was delicious and no complaints. However we were there to enjoy cocktails in addition to the restaurant and whilst tasty, I am doubtful any alcohol was actually in them. I have a very low tolerance and rarely drink cocktails, but after three different kinds, it was similar to drinking three glasses of juice. Our entire group felt this way except the beer drinkers who were very jolly upon leaving. If charging £8/£9 per drink, I expect alcohol to be it. Cheers for reading!
Really disappointed with the food we ate last night. The one star is only given due to the lovely staff working yesterday. I ate an overcooked burger, cold chips and salad with no dressing. Terrible! I would have sent it back but I was preoccupied with looking after my young daughter. I can't believe how overpriced it was for poor food. I wish we had gone to brassica grill which is only 100 metres away and on another level. Manager really needs to look at that food coming out of the kitchen..
If you want breakfast on a Saturday morning then don't bother.
We went here as our usual place was put of action, when we got there there was a fair few people but it wasn't packed. We waited an hour for our food and even had to run out to move the car so we didn't get a ticket (only 1 hour free parking). When the food arrived it was OK, toast pretty solid and just generally nothing special to eat. Disappointed sums it up.
Not happy, very unimpressed with the service and the food was quite average. We thought we would try here as it's local and seems uppermarket they could not cope with our table of 10. A couple of our party ordered steaks including myself and we had to ask the waitress a couple of times after the food was served for the peppercorn sauce! Took well over 10 minutes to reach the table in which we had already eaten our steaks. Manager had a shocking attitude to when I asked for the steaks to be discounted on top of a £180 bill as they were obviously dry.. won't be coming back here now as there are miles better places to eat/drink around the moore. Parking is a no go around the area and the kitchen is located right next to the toilets downstairs!! Yes it's crazy and there is a door leading upstairs which has to be opened each time... Disgusting ???????? UPDATE: THIS PLACE IS NO LONGER TRADING
