Came for lunch on a Saturday.. The food was fantastic and hearty. It gave the impression of food you would be served as a guest come around for dinner. I had the tripe and we shared salad and Ox tongue. I will be coming back. The service was very friendly. I recommend the Uighur teapot too! All very reasonably priced, lots of food for about £22 each.
Was looking for a place to break my fast in the bustling city of London, fortunately this place is just 20 minutes away by bus from Kings Cross and very close to British Museum.
The food was super delicious and worth every penny. Waiting time for it was close to zero. Never had Uyghur food before and I went in not expecting what the experience would be like and it was something that was truly a blessing to have such a nice meal.
You’re missing out if you’re in London and never had food here. Keep our Uyghur brothers and sisters in your prayers.

We came during our lunch break and between the two of us, we shared the chicken qoruna chop (generous serving and tasty but a bit too salty), the pilaf with lamb (really good) and the lamb kebab (flavour was good but it was dry). The food came out quickly and the service was polite. For the price point, I'd definitely come again to try some other dishes!
Passed by this place many times and finally went in. The service was excellent and the food very flavourful. If like me you’ve never tried Uyghur cuisine this is the place to start! The menu is varied and incredibly detailed so you’ll find it clear to know what to expect when ordering. I will be returning to try the rest of the menu soon!
An exotic twist on typical Chinese. Looking like a takeaway but it is a quiet place to escape all other crowded places around the British Museum. Note the photos, decorations and Uyghur music quietly playing in the background.
I stumbled upon this place on my way to the British Museum, and had a lovely lunch. I had a salad and a main course, and both dishes tastes good. Don't expect anything fancy, but the food is tasty and NICE.
Very nice Halal food dishes. Hot and delicious meals, mostly homemade noodles or rice with meat or chicken plus vegetables cooked in the Chinese style and has the flavour of Uyghur. Many other dishes I don't order and they have fiah and chips on some days. I like it very much and recommended it to my friends in London. The location is so close to Tottenham Court Road Underground Station and so close to Primark in Oxford Street.
Turpan a small Uyghur spot a few min walk from Covent Garden.
Excellent affordable food and portions very generous.
Try the leghmen noodles, so flavourful and hand pulled noodles. Ask for medium heat.
Fully halal with no cross contamination. (No pork or Alcohol)
Service is nice and accept card payment. No service fee.
