I will never go anywhere but here for my beetle. They are very knowledgeable about anything VW and are quick about fixing pretty much anything. Super nice and cool dudes and will undoubtedly go back to them before any dealership. Thanks again to everyone there ????
Always ask for Bob! Best mechanic around for your dollar! To get a good mechanic, you need to pay a little more. (You get what you pay for, and he is worth every penny!) Bob will treat you right and make sure you are happy with the repair! Bob is also the only mechanic I’ll take my 1971 VW Super Beetle project to for maintenance or anything I can’t do myself. If you are looking for a hard to find odd or end for your bug project, most likely he’s got it or can get it for you!
Friendly, thorough, professional, Bob was a pleasure to talk to he was very informative and helped us learn a great deal about my vw beetle I just purchased . He is very experience in bugs & knows his stuff. All Volkswagen, older cars, classics he's your go to guy for sure!!!

EPC & check engine lights were on leading me to believe something was wrong with sensors or throttle control. No luck getting thru to VW dealer service, so I dropped by Tumazi auto repair & owner Bob Tumazi was on it immediately. I left my car overnight & Bob called first thing in the morning to tell me car was done! Turns out free auto parts store diagnostic was a bit misleading, & Tumazi’s was able to diagnose & fix the problem quickly & at a very reasonable cost. My VW CC drives like a dream again & I’m so grateful for the honest, efficient, & pleasant service Bob provided. If your VW is still under warranty, definitely go see the dealer. But if not, go see Bob at Tumazi’s. I found my new trustworthy mechanic & I’m on cloud 9! Great experience! Great service! Thank you Tumazi’s!
Bob is a gem! I recently moved to Turlock and I needed help when my VW CC’s clockspring snapped. This was the second time. Since this issue was a recall on my car before, I went back to Tracy Volkswagen and asked them to replace it again since it is a VW warranty issue. The service manager at Tracy VW refused to honor the second repair on the clockspring issue and wanted me to pay full price. When I called Bob for help he referred me to VW Merced for this issue. It was such an awesome referral because VW Merced contacted VW and I still had 5 years left on my recall for the clockspring. It was fully covered! When that issue was taken care of, I needed my brakes replaced and I took my car to Bob. They did an awesome job and even found another issue that I wasn’t aware of. I’m so grateful to have a trustworthy place to take my VW in so close to where I live. Thanks, Bob!
This is my new go to place for VW needs! Bob and Nora are great people! Bob is super knowledgeable and was honest about what type of repairs I was looking at. The prices are more than fair in my opinion. They went above and beyond for me. All in all great people, great work. I’ll definitely be a returning customer.
Wanted to share a great experience with Tumazi auto repair. I called 15 minutes before closing Bob (owner) answers phone, gets me number to local tow company, offers to stay and wait for car. Calls the next day as promised, car just needed a battery.
