I have great things to say about Tulio except one thing. Great ambiance, amazing service and a really great experience. I went on a date night and they gave us a complementary champagne. I would call that great hosting. Our waiter was sweet, the food was tasty, and the ambiance was really vibrant.
The only thing which I felt a bit underwhelming was the portion size. I think they could increase portion size a bit. We tried sweet potato gnocchi and Ravioli and we felt the portion size of both of them was too small. Luckily I was not super hungry and didn't mind it but maybe when I am hungry I won't choose this spot.
If you are dying for good Italian food then go here. The food is amazing! The price of the food is a little high but it is worth it - every penny! The bread is amazing too — I highly recommend it. I was a little concerned at first but I am so glad we stayed. I love Italian food and I found the place where I will definitely go back.
Beautiful older building with a lot of character. We did not have reservations and were able to get a table in the bar area. Restaurant got filled up as we were there so our waiter turned back into the bartender and we had several other people wait on us. Food was ok. Everything was fine, not over the top in flavour. We found as the restaurant filled up it got very loud in there even though we were away from the dining area.
The food is very good! The Italian arugula salad was super flavorful. The mussels pasta could use a little more seasoning though, especially salt. I’d totally go back to try more food.
The food was amazing. Even Alex my girlfriend said this place is an absolute 5 star experience.
We arrived at 8:50pm, Caitlin the server/bartender told us “ No worries, come on in. We got you.” The kitchen was supposed to close at 9pm. And as always, I had a drink made for me by colour. I picked orange and Caitlin delivered. I call it the Zatanna the DC super girl of magic. Zatanna is Italian, so thought this was fitting for the atmosphere.
The chefs Patrick and Randell have to be some of the most skilled chefs in Seattle. Our food was so spot on and the tastes and textures of everything had us saying we are coming back for more.
We got the Chicken Liver Pate, sweet potato gnocchi, lamb shank, chicken and risotto, and I got the New York stake. You must try it too.
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Our hostess Nathalie was amazing. Made sure that all was to our expectations and more. Even checked in on us a few times during our meal. Lovely lovely girl. Our waiter Andy was also very pleasant, attentive and gave us great service. The food was outstanding. Truly enjoyed our evening. Cant wit to go back:)
Dishes were plated and presented beautifully. "Charred" risotto lacked any charring but was still bright and citrusy. Lamb was okay. Roasted chicken was dry. Burrata was simply not good and the coffee was intolerably dark and acidic. Service was also quite lacking.
If you're looking for a place where the food is not only delicious but also surprisingly generous in portion, you definitely need to visit Tulio Restaurant. Every dish we tried was spectacular, but I must highlight the pork milanese and the tomato meat pasta; both dishes are a must-try. Additionally, the service we received from Kat was outstanding—her attention was impeccable and very attentive. I recommend asking to be served by her for an even more special experience. You can't miss out!
