Tuco's is great to go for Margarita's and tacos. Never had a bad experience. The selection of tequila and different featured margaritas are on point. I also love the variety of different tacos that they serve and feature!
Awesome food! Take a break from regular, boring food and check out this place! Packed full of flavor and will not be forgotten. Service was spot on and the location couldn't get any better. Everything was delicious and came out really fast. If you haven't tried this place yet, what are you waiting for?
Tortilla Soup was wonderful but very spicy. Peachy Keen drink was like a mini margarita. Chips and Salsa are large enough to share with the whole table.
Atmosphere was beautiful, food was decent. Service was terrible and we’d never go again. The white male with the nose piercing was the waiter, he had to be reminded of our order and to overall take care of us. We placed our order and as we waited we noticed new people we’re seated, placed an order and received their meal before us while we watched them. I was with my pregnant wife which makes this experience worse. What’s confusing is he would service the people at the tables near us and skip us literally had to walk past us to get the others, we had to call his attention a few times when we did get his attention he did service us. The poor service we received makes it extremely obvious servicing us wasn’t his or Tuco’s priority.
I’m in Roanoke for work and this was my first stop. The food was pretty good and not terribly priced but I really felt like I inconvenienced or annoyed some staff during Sunday lunch after being offered a seat at the bar or a high top (I don’t mind the bar but I don’t drink and I was given a option so I chose the latter). She stopped by the table multiple times during my quick lunch but was very standoffish so I didn’t feel ignored necessarily but definitely got weird vibes from the front of the house staff. I get that it’s tough when there didn’t seem to be tables for less than four people but ????????♀️
Didn't like it. In Mexican food, the ingredients are very important, be aware to mixed properly. You tell me.
Had the spicy cucumber margarita, fire! It's literally hot and really good. I was super excited that they did that thing where it said spicy but isn't. Great selection of tequilas, really cool vibes and the burrito bowl thing is amazing.
Love, love ???? we some street food and Mexican foods of all kinds. I found a great combination of both at Tuco’s.
Lots to love here so here we go;
1. Simple Menu with a wide variety of different types of food.
2. Margarita menu, say no more…
3. A great lunch menu, including food with and without meat.
4. Clean banos ????
5. Outdoor eating area.
I ordered the lunch tacos with fried avocados and the chips and salsa. They provide extra hot sauces of different varieties. They’re not messing around with hot sauces. They really are hot, especially the habanero hot sauce.
They do a very brisk takeout business for most everything on their menu.
