Terribly slow and disappointing service from Tubbs and Co. I almost lost the sale of my property due to missing paperwork after countless e mails asking if there was anything I needed to do on my behalf. Upon completion the previous owner left several skips worth of junk and upon contacting my solicitor (tubbs). I was then advised not to ask her for compensation and to also not get rid of her junk which was left in my property. After numerous phone calls and e mails trying to contact them I have now given up and seeking further legal advice. I’m happy to say I’m a first time buyer and I have learnt my lesson the first time round, I won’t be supporting any local solicitors as I’m not confident they are capable or competent, from now on I will be using none patronising, polite and profession conveyancing solicitors only, who are firm with the law and are willing to put it into practice.
Never really got a chance to work with Mike Tubbs he called me Stephen on second most rude and pompous call he had made in one day,I said it was ok to call me Steve and was it ok if I called him
Michael,he said we are not on a “ first name basis yet” who on earth does he think he is! Fair to say in my estimation this man has his head placed in a place where the Sun doesn’t shine,don’t say I didn’t warn you! an extremely rude man who talks bravely down the phone,but perhaps might not be so inclined to do that face to face,he has an American girl working there on a short term basis,would it be unreasonable to ask what her work visa status is ?
Just completed our house sale with Tubbs & Co, Scarborough. All went successfully thanks to Samantha Drayton and her team who proved to be both diligent and professional. We couldn't have asked for better service.
Top bloke, nick helps me wherever in the country I am.. he's a no nonsense chap straight to the point, he's worth his weight in gold.
Nick was my custody solicitor - unfortunately. Shouted at me down the phone and said I'd have no chance for legal aid with the particular charge. Would just get ripped off and pointless. Plus a definite 18 month driving ban. All turned out to be utter rubbish, thank God I didn't listen to him! Very poor disservice to people in dire straits. And very unprofessional.

Notary service. VERY helpful, professional and informative, would recommend to anyone looking for a notary service. We had a query in relation to a DBS certificate and Fiona was patient with us and helped us ask the embassy the right questions so we were able to resolve in one visit. Highly recommended
I have used Tubbs & Co for conveyancing and probate, and on both occasions the service was excellent! I would highly recommend them as they ALWAYS kept me informed, provided detailed responses and were very good value for money. I felt the care and sensitivity shown during the probate procedures was particularly helpful. All in all - a professional company with professional standards with a caring approach - 10/10!
