This hotel is in a great spot if you’re staying for a concert or event at the Prudential Center. The rooms are extremely basic but clean. My only disappointment was the lack of a mini fridge but honestly if you’re only staying here for a night or two it’s not a big deal. The staff was very friendly, I was allowed to check in an hour early. This is a solid 4 star hotel. I would 100% stay here again for another concert.
Excellent location near Penn Station and Prudential Center. We were there to see a concert and visit NYC. Rooms are basic but spotless. Front desk super friendly and a paid parking lot ($20 a day) right outside the hotel. They even let us keep the car there for an extra day for free! Only negative is no breakfast included but there is wonderful diner literally steps from the hotel. Highly recommended!
This was a gem. We bugged out of PA the night before a flight out of the country and ahead of a major snow storm. The room was clean and modern. There is a nice bar on site and the food and service we great. Parking is adjacent to the hotel and managed by the hotel. It was a quick stay but very convenient to Newark Airport. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice hotel. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Restaurant and bar on the property. Decent prices for the food and drinks. I forgot to snap pics. My bf had salmon that looked juicy and delicious. I had short rib tacos that were tasty. Parking lot available for a fee.
We arrived early from a red eye flight and were told that we could not be accommodated for early check in. It was not offered to us to leave our bags there we had to ask if they could store them for us. The front desk staff were rude. We were finally accommodated with an early check in. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were odd, square shaped. The entire place smelled like weed. Breakfast the next morning was odd and overpriced. We received zero service for breakfast and had to ask even where and how to pay. At check out I informed the desk we were checking out and attempted to hand keys in, which was rudely redirected to just out the keys in the box. They did not say goodbye or thanks for staying or anything. The security guard was rude and not friendly at all. I watched them literally chase a guest down who had eaten breakfast and I guess not paid, but it was understandable because there was no obvious way to pay for breakfast as there was no one waiting on the tables or greeting you in the breakfast area. The guy ran down the hall after her and knocked on her door followed by security about her non payment. That could have been handled way better. The location also kind of sucked. There was a Whole Foods near by which was nice. However public transportation was not close enough to be convenient. I don’t think I’ll be back to New Jersey but if I do travel back I won’t be staying here.the only reason it is 2 star instead of 1 is because it was clean.
Called hotel upon arrival at the airport, I was informed shuttle was arriving every 30 mins at 430 then 5. Shuttle did not arrive by 520, called back and was told they were there and wouldn't be back until 615. Eventually after multiple calls and discussions the shuttle made an exception and picked us up. Hotel does smell like weed always. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The Train station was a 10 min easy walk
Great location as it’s walking distance to Penn Station in Newark, which allows a quick ride by the path train to New York City. The hotel itself is quite easy to get to and conveniently has a parking right next door. Remember to keep your parking tab that allows you entry and exit without too much fuss. The rooms were basic but spacious regrettably without any microwave or fridge.
The hotel is conveniently located next to some local restaurants and also has a decent breakfast for $20. Only complaint was being locked out of the room and the front desk not knowing which room number I was checked in on my return back from the city. This meant I was locked out of my room twice and I had to have Security let me back into my originally booked room which had all my belongings. Fortunately, everything was intact and security was not an issue.
Used the gym, located in the basement of the hotel. Some of the equipment needs to be upgraded, and the yoga/gym mats looked like they had seen better days.
Overall, great location and convenient to get in and out of the city. Parking was easy to get in and out of place also had 2 EV charging stations with Blink not the usual ChargePoint or other EV charging vendors. This required a quick registration and login that offered adequate charging overnight to 80%
I stayed for one night. I wish I could extend my stay but they were all booked up. The hotel lobby & rooms are so nicely decorated. The restaurant is so pretty too. I wasn’t able to eat there because the kitchen closed by the time I got situated. I do have a few complaints: no free parking, the safe in my room didn’t work neither did the tv. I would definitely stay here again. Its in a convenient spot with things to do & places to eat.
