Large portions of home cooked food. Gravy was very blan and tasted like canned gravy with link sausages cut up in it.
Great service from our waitress tho.

We arrived 5 minutes before closing. Staff was gracious, sat us immediately and took our order. Food was delicious and not an unkind word about our untimely arrival. Highly recommend this restaurant and the wonderful people that work so hard to provide delicious food and a very pleasant atmosphere.
I brought my grandchildren here for lunch on Sunday. The hostess and wait staff were friendly and efficient. The food was terrific! The kids got fried shrimp and boneless wings, and cleaned their plates. I got the fish, and all of our food was perfectly cooked, and really delicious. Also, I picked it because of the name, which I thought was clever, but they actually have props from the movie True Grit, as well as plenty of John Wayne and True Grit memorabilia. We had a wonderful lunch today, and thanks to all of you at the restaurant for such a great experience!

Love this place. We come here probably twice a month and the food has always been good. Tea can be a little sweeter, but overall a pretty good experience every time!
The point that I have to enter one star is the worst. They do not even deserve one star! I ordered a kids pancake. It was gritty and falling apart and a piece was missing out of it. I also ordered home fries, biscuit and gravy. The gravy is just white gravy no sausage in it. I also ordered two orders of bacon and when I got home not only am I having to go through here and fix all this stuff and recook it the bacon there was only four slices. The girls specifically told me three slices per order. I call up there and they were extremely rude and are not fixing the problem. They're trying to tell me I should have to pay again.... I will not ever go there again. Terrible service and terrible food
I'm sorry but I was really disappointed to see this place on health department list. I went in last week,my coffee was terrible,my patty melt tasted like someone dumped a salt shaker on it. I used to like goin here. Money being tight,was a waste. I won't return.
