This area can fill up quick in the evening. And if you pull into one of the spots. It can prove to be very challenging to exit. You have to pull out onto the grass area over the curb to get room to pull out of the spots depending on how far in the adjoining trucks are.
I had a tire shred itself while going south, and they had this parking area conveniently located right there just as it happened! They had a giant sign with the number for the highway patrol to call for assistance which came in handy too! The people who answered the phone were great and sent an officer with a crossbar, since I lost mine. They were able to point me to the nearest service station just a few miles down the road too!
I like parking here because it's no cars people are so reckless nowadays
