A very enjoyable experience. The food was delicious And the service was outstanding. We came in for something to eat early dinning and noticed that they have a lot more to offer than just food.
I noticed the pool table and further back what appears to be an area for music and socializing. Something that is lacking in this area.
Looking forward to checking out The nightlife here.
My family and I are frequent visitors to Ocala and when we found out there was finally a Guyanese restaurant in the neighborhood, we were ecstatic to try the food. However, our experience has left us OUTRAGED! I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED AT THE AUDACITY OF THE RESTAURANT OWNERS TO BE CHARGING ANYONE THESE PRICES. The black pudding cost $15. What the hell!!!! That comes down to charging about a $1 for just one 1/4 inch piece of black Pudding. Highway robbery much? If you are West Indian, you know a food is normally shared between multiple people. I have never seen any restaurant serve chicken fried rice or chowmein with anything less than 5 pieces of chicken. We barely got 3 pieces with our food and the cost was $15. Not to mention, there was barely any taste or flavor to the food. The chowmein was definitely underseasoned and too soft. As for the banga mary, the price ($16), portion and taste was not worth it. I fully understand that you are the only restaurant if its kind in the neighborhood, however, that absolutely gives you no right to be taking advantage of the community you are servicing. I will definitely not be returning or recommending you all to anyone. For anyone reading this, take my advise and spend your money elsewhere. We would rather drive to Orlando than visit this restaurant again.
What in the actual hell did I drive 30 minutes for tonight? My husband and I have been frequent buyers since opening week, and each time, the quantity and quality of the house special fried rice has decreased, TREMENDOUSLY! Beyond disappointed is an understatement, it looks like we won't be returning back. A bowl of house special fried rice with hardly any shrimp/crab meat and 2 tiny pieces of chicken? 2?! Even the actual chinese restaurant don't skimp on their chicken. Didn't realize there was a poultry shortage until tonight. It's completely ridiculous. If you're on a diet and looking to eat overpriced, portioned food. This is the spot to go.
We took my dad for an early birthday dinner. The bartender who also served us was amazing. He was super friendly and very attentive. His margarita was actually one of the best I've had since moving here. I had the pepper shrimp fried rice and it was very tasty. Reminded me of being back in NY food filled with actual flavor. BBQ wings were fresh and my son loved his mozzarella sticks. Will definitely be back to try other things. Thanks for the amazing service!
Best place in town! Great food! Great drinks! The best bartender is Randy! The owners are exceptionally professional, and personable! Recommend 10/10!!! Tropical Vibes is the place to be tues-sun!!!!

We went there for the very first time on Saturday and we actually felt the vibes. Fry, snapper, pepper lamb, roast duck all off the chain delicious make sure you’re sipping on a drink. The owners went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time from the music to the food to the drinks, bless up.

Thought we'd try the new local place.
Food was....good. A bit different for our taste. I never had chicken curry with bones in it. But, none the less, it was pretty good. Might stick with something a little more traditional next time.
Atmosphere and decor was pretty cool. They may wanna refinish the tables again as the epoxy did not quite cure properly and was a bit sticky.
