The place is very clean. Service was very good. The two young people worked in the back, one person made the flatbread sandwiches and the other person made our smoothies. They were very friendly. I love the Detox Island Green, not sweet and has a hint of ginger flavor. If you prefer sweet smoothies and you don’t like raw green veggie taste, Detox Island Green is not for you. My kids love their Chicken Pesto Flatbread.
2024: Do Not Go Here. Waited 10 minutes for a smoothie that tastes like water, slight pink color from a minimal amount of berries. I would have asked for a refund if the slow service hadn't already made me late for work.
I ordered a bowl and it was TERRIBLE. Nothing like bowls I've had before. The strawberries were missing, the pineapples looked like they came out of a can and that acai base was disgusting. The staff clearly wasn't trained well on how to ring it up or make it. I called several times to get a refund and when someone finally answered the phone, they couldn't give me an answer and took my number. No one returned my call. It was a very disappointing experience.
Got my order wrong twice and told me an ingredient in my smoothie was extra cost, took about 30 minutes to get it right. Worst customer service i’ve had.
Edit: i just got home and opened my quesadilla, i payed for extra cheese, and the whole thing is bread. My daughter is very disappointed.
This Tropical Smoothie is now under new management and the place has gone down hill. We walked into the store at about 8pm on a Wednesday. There was one person working in the back. She looked like she was getting the kitchen ready for the next day. We waited patiently hoping that the woman working there would get to a point where she could stop what she was doing and take our order. She clearly saw us but did not even take the time to acknowledge us. Finally, after about 10 minutes she walked over to us and said that she was by herself and was working on an online order and had decided to close the place 10 minutes. If that was the case, then why didn't she say something sooner. This was absolutely ridiculous. Extremely poor customer service...well in this case, NO service. If she wanted to close early then she should have turned off the OPEN sign and locked the door. The people who work at this place do not know how to run a successful business. I won't be coming back any time soon. Absolutely terrible! They won't stay open for too long if that's how they plan on running their business.
Everytime I go I must go during the busiest times, 2pm? Order was supposed to be ready 203 and it wad completed 217. Multiple customers who came after me recieved their smoothies before mine. What's the point of ordering ahead? I also ordered Turkey bacon ranch but they didn't put bacon on it. Another customer a man, he was mad wanting a refund but they cant give refunds unless manager Is there so they have to come back. Man then had to go up and ask again where his remade food is. They need like 1 more person for real...I'm in the food industry so I know the struggle. If you don't have patience please don't go. Things happen and they can quit and go to another easy job in a second. Just give them patience please as the train and get staff. Smoothie was delicious and sandwiche still good as well.
I placed an online order and arrived to an entirely closed and locked up store at 1:30pm. I was still charged for my order, and I have no way to get a refund as it just says to contact the store with any issues. The store phone just rings forever, can't even leave a message. Otherwise I had to dig to find a form to submit on the main tropical smoothie website, and now have to wait and hope that they'll give me a refund. There was no message when ordering about different hours or the store closing. It said the order would be ready in 10 minutes. Do not order online unless you can verify they are actually open, because they will still take your money even if closed.
Edit: went the following day and was able to get the smoothie I had paid for.
Waited over 15 minutes for a smoothie and dilla. Refunded because I had to leave for work. Worker kept making online orders rather than for the people in store.
