Usually don’t come here, but was craving a smoothie. Asked a worker for suggestions and he broke down the menu for me very well. Not sure of his name, lightskin young man with dreads. He was very friendly and patient. While waiting, the other two females coworkers were very unprofessional and using vulgar language during convo. Overall was very satisfied with my order minus the atmosphere.
Extremely unprofessional workers, cussing and pretty much yelling at one another. Customers trying eat or enjoy food should not have to listen to your workers talk about their sex lives or relationship issues, we definitely don’t need to hear constant cussing and down right disgusting conversations. Your employees really need new training and to be taught how to work a public service job. I’d give 0 stars if possible.
At the halfway point on our way to Richmond, we make a habit of stopping at this shopping area. Use the Tropical Smoothie Cafe app to order and pay ahead; come inside when you get there and tell them your name. They have mobile orders stacked behind the counter (THANK YOU! Theft prevention and more hygienic!)--- we have never had to wait. Very clean bathrooms, as well. You CAN travel for hours and still have your favorite smoothie without waiting a long time. Check them out! Love the Green Avocolada (I always add chia seeds & banana.)
Stopped by for lunch to go, cheerful employees and one of the cleanest I’ve been in, food was really good.
They are bad with communication. Also don’t care if you have family emergency. Also do everything through text and email. If you are black they make you feel out of place because it’s mainly full of white people. Also don’t train you also never gave handbook with guide lines . The worst place I ever been in or worked at . God bless them but I see why they have nobody and ppl are leaving . Worst thing I every seen .
I usually enjoy coming, this time the service was awful. The whole time I’m trying to check out one girl is one her phone. The whole time me and a few other customers are in there they yelling about how they don’t want to be there, “let’s put a sign on the door that we’re closed” they were then expressing how mad they were that people were coming in “y’all don’t want to come in here when Starbucks isn’t closed. It honestly was a very hostile environment. I also thought usually the workers washed their hands or put on gloves but that was not the case this time. 07/31/23 1:20pm
Every time I go here there’s a low sense of professionalism. Today, the hours said 7AM-9PM. I placed a mobile order at 7:45 AM which confirm the hours and I get there and the door’s locked. Cool. Called the store- no answer, but there’s people inside. Waited around until 8AM. There’s obviously someone inside, but they keep doing whatever they’re doing. I go back two hours later in hopes of a refund and the employees act offended and that they have to deal with a customer and display no customer service skills and continue cussing and going about their day to the point where they don’t even listen to what I’m saying and just start remaking a smoothie when I asked for a refund. At this point I just let it go because it’s obvious that this is routine for them. Long story short : change your hours or open on time because you’re wasting people’s time and have some manners. If you’re not gonna be punctual, be polite.

The staff was warm and welcoming very pleasant experience I recommend this location over all others I've been to. My Smoothie is always the same sometimes when I go to different tropical smoothie my smoothie aren't made the same. This place is always consistent. And the store is always very clean abs organized ???? ???? ???? ???? ????????
