Enjoyed a nice but very expensive meal at Tropical Smoothie. 1 Chicken Pesto flatbread, 1 Thai Chicken wrap and 1 Blimey Limey smoothie came to $29, ouch. The food was good and the smoothie was so nice and tart. I always make sure to not get any added sugar to my smoothies because they are sweet enough with the fruit. We went in right before the lunch rush at 12:05 and a nice clean restaurant that was empty.
This location has the worst customer service ever. We purchased a mango magic with whey protein and it tasted like peppers and chocolate. When I called to let them know the female that answered the phone told me the whey protein is what makes it taste like chocolate and they do not have peppers in that location. I would also have to bring it back in to receive another drink. I am traveling out of town and told her I could not bring it back until tomorrow and that it would be melted and she informed me that the manager policy was to receive the incorrect product back. horrid customer service!!!
I placed a mobile order for the Baja chicken and mistakenly forgot to sub chipotle instead of the tomato salsa as the salsa is too spicy. Called three times before someone answered the phone and was told that since the sandwich had been made, they cannot remake it. When I arrived at the cafe, I explained the issue and was told again that the sandwich could not be remade. As I cannot enjoy this spicy sandwich, I asked for a refund and was told that they cannot process a refund since the order was placed on the mobile app. What kind of nonsense is this? I called their customer service line and am being refunded through them. I also left a review for this location with them advising that this is a pretty ridiculous situation. Agent who answered the phone stated that it’s the manager’s discretion to remake it or not. So they are penalizing me for making a mistake? I will definitely not be revisiting this location again and will continue to spread the word on other platforms.

Almost $19 for a chicken wrap that had enough chicken for maybe a mouse and a smoothie. What a joke. Never going there again. Drive thru was nice though.
Just went into the store tried to use my birthday reward, the scanner wasn't registering the code. The employees lacked any kind of problem solving skills. Just kept telling me my total was what it was. Then the employee says it's my fault because I ordered a "retired smoothie" (meanwhile it's listed in the app and on the board) and that's why it wouldn't work. No where on the birthday reward does it say it can't be a retired smoothie. The employees were not even trying to help solve the problem that was clearly on TS's side of things. Very disappointed.
I came in on a slow day so my smoothie came out really quickly but what I most appreciated was that Sofia handed it to me rather than placing it on the counter in front of me, especially because I was standing right there. She was also smiling and really friendly. Much needed in this world today.
I have been going to this tropical smoothie on my way to work. The food and smoothies are always good and my mobile orders are always ready on time. To top it off the manager is wonderful.
