Needs quality control or management.
Went to get a smoothie and sandwich at 1:00 on a Tuesday. Ordering was easy but it took 15 minutes to get our order. Sides only consisted of either an apple or a bag of jalapeno chips. No other chips or sides to choose from. Floors appear to need a mopping.
2 weeks ago when we ordered a smoothie and sandwich there was too much ice in the smoothie and the taste wasn’t right and too thick.
The staff did not greet me or anyone that walked in after me. They will stare at you until you acknowledge them, even if they’re not busy. A “I’ll be right with you” would suffice. I literally had to ask them “Is anyone going to take my order” after being stared at and walked past multiple times. I encourage you to support another Tropical Smoothie instead.
I'm a restaurant owner and your employees are pathetic. I have never seen two young men move as slow as they did. I had an online order, I walked in. It wasn't made. There was just a few people there getting ready to order so he stopped what he was doing took orders. The other kid is standing there doing nothing then he slowly makes a sandwich and he's barely moving. I mean like a snail. It took them forever to get my order ready and even take an order. That is just a pathetic. I know workers are hard to get but dear Lord, I don't know how you get any business all in there. I will never go back to that location
I love the Tropical Smoothie Cafe, but this location is so understaffed, and the workers are often in robot mode and barely surviving. They are doing their best and multitasking as best they can. What I really wanted to order was out of stock, so I had to settle for something else, and then I waited 45 minutes for my order.
I recently had a problem with a delivery from here by doordash that doordash refused to rectify. They had me calling the store for them.
After some massive confusion (thanks to doordash) I had left my name and phone number with the store and got a call back from the manager Tim. He understood immediately and explained everything clearly, and as I suspected it was a doordash problem. Without missing a beat he offered a solution that solved my problem and kept me happy. He offered to replace the smoothies I didnt receive which I don't think he had to do. I'm happy with the outcome of the situation because of Tim. I want to add that doordash was no help at all and instead made the situation more stressful than it needed to be. I am happy about the solution and have every intention on just ordering pickup from now on. This isnt the first time doordash did this, but this is the first time they refused to help so I am very grateful for Tim fixing everything.
Long wait to order drspite not being busy, food and smoothies were made quickly after i ordered and order was accurate. Tables and floor were all pretty dorty. The trash can in the corner couldnt be used becaise it was overflowing. Seems like this place could use some shift managers to make sure work is getting done.
Ordered online a few times. Hit and miss with order accuracy. Was told that they were out of wraps today and can't refund me because it's a Sunday. Staff acted like they didn't care. Avoid this location if possible
Had a rough start but the staff and gm carol took care if it and rockin it out the park! Great service and such nice team members! I feel Carol is going to turn this place around and be the best store in the district!
