All was decent, just if you order the jalapeño corn premium side, it may not be worth it as the portion is smaller than a regular side. Also the kale salad had a fishy taste. See pic
Elizabeth is great! I work late and sometimes come in shortly before close. Other locations have turned me away even before 9p! Never here, always a great smoothie and attentive + friendly staff!
Purchased a sunrise sunset smoothie after attending the the Oglethorpe graduation. I parked in the Publix underground deck and the elevators were not working so I had to take the stairs. The smoothie fell and splashed everywhere. Went back to the store and spoke to the owner and asked if they’d be so kind to comp me another one. He said it wasn’t his problem but he would make an exception for me. Then he lectured me about it and said, “in the future blah blah”. I politely told him thanks but no thanks because he made me feel like I was trying to scam him. I know, I know, he really didn’t have to comp it. However, he was rude to me. I don’t need that and that will be the last $7.23 Tropical Smoothie Cafe will ever get from me.
When I paid for the smoothie, the swiper asked if I wanted to tip and after I chose “No tip”, it then said “BAD TIP”. I think that is very tacky considering this isn’t a sit down restaurant where you should always tip at least 20% if not more (only 15% if it's a horrible experience). I almost always tip at places that aren’t sit downs but a machine that says “Bad tip” definitely doesn’t make me want to tip. I would rather them just make everything a dollar or two more than have it say that to me. Not saying I won't come back, but just wanted to share that.
Typically, im not a person who leaves reviews, but I can not stress how easy and pleasant it was to go to this tropical smoothie.
Elizabeth was my order taker. She's the bomb. Nice, efficient, and fast.

I ordered a smoothie and specified the ingredients to be - Strawberry, Banana, Peanut butter , and whey protein. I didn't order one off of the menu. It came with sugar added. They made me buy another smoothie to get what I ordered without sugar. So, I had to pay for 2 smoothies to get the one that I ordered the first time.
My friend picked us up some smoothies for lunch today & they were both very disgusting. I had the immune blast with ginger added & he had the sunshine smoothie. They tasted like ice and water. You could barely taste any fruit or juice. I couldn’t even taste any ginger and ginger has a strong taste.
I teetered between 2 stars and 3 stars with this one. I work in the shopping center and have only been here once for a delicious smoothie. I was told their food was good and seeing their advertisements on the windows for some good-looking quesadillas, I ordered a three-cheese with a smoothie to make it a lunch special. I was highly disappointed when I got back to work and opened the box to see the size of the quesadilla nowhere to what I though it would be or seemed to be advertised. It was small, flat, and barely filled. The portion looked more like an appetizer than actual lunch. Needless to say, I was still hungry after eating. Smoothie was great and customer service was fast with a smile.
