This place absolutely stunk from the moment I walked in. I waited 10 minutes with no line to be greeted. I was distracted on the phone with work and on a tight schedule, so I assumed it was just the garbage waiting to be taken out. On top of the rancid stench, I waited 25 minutes for a smoothie and a sandwich I didn't eat from the disgust. There were three customers who came in after me who got their orders with multiple people before I got my order. There were a minimum of 4 employees working there who seemed more interested in each other and their social media than the customers. Have you ever heard of cross contamination? Never again. This place is run by high schoolers who I am positive have no idea how to clean a restaurant instead of looking at their phones. I expect a half-hearted reply with a link to complain a second time to the company who should have listend to this and many other bad reviews and took action. I will not take more precious time out of my day to take a secondary survey when this review is good enough. Fix it yourself. I don't work for you.
There were 3 employees working when my family and I went into the store, but no one took our order. My family and I were standing in front of the cash register for 5 minutes but no one acknowledged us so we left. They did not appear busy. Two people were making online orders and the other person was restocking chips. Could not believe no one took our order. It was bizarre.
On Tuesday evening around 7pm, I made a stop at the Edgewater location to grab a smoothie for my friend before visiting her at the hospital. Unfortunately, my experience was farrrr from pleasant. Despite ordering two Bahama Mama smoothies and a chipotle chicken flatbread, I encountered unnecessary hostility when I asked to switch one smoothie to the Mango Magic just moments after paying.
To my disbelief, the employee named Rhonda reacted with aggression, slamming the blender on the counter and storming off loudly. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply concerning. Even the other staff members were taken aback by Rhondas actions. As someone who values respect in all interactions, I was shocked and deeply disappointed by this treatment.
Beyond the disrespectful conduct, I couldn't help but worry about the safety of the food I had ordered. Rhondas outburst left me questioning the integrity of my order, prompting me to throw out the smoothies considering the hostility and aggression Rhonda showed towards me.
This experience has left me very dissatisfied, and I have no intention of ever returning to this establishment again. Such behavior is unacceptable, and as a customer, I deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism.
Been a customer for over 20 years. Ordered my regular. Tasted off. I asked if they could add what I felt was missing and I was told very flippantly that, they could not touch the drink after it been given to me. So I asked if they could make another and then was told “No” I could pay for another and then they would make it. I have never in my life been so aggrieved. I work in service and would never treat a guest in that manner. If it’s wrong just fix it. It’s not coming out of your pocket. Trash service.
I went for an açaí bowl at this location for the first time. I added granola and penut butter but they barely put. I normally go to the one at east colonial, it makes the extras worth it. But sadly at this location they don’t put that much. I hope they put more the next time ????
I bought a flatbread which was okay but that smoothie…..I spent over $5 on colored ice. I ask for no sugar and they gave me one with sugar but they remake it without. Tropical smoothie is only good with sugar and that’s bad.
My buffalo chicken wrap was yummy, but my Paradise Point smoothie was all ice and barely any fruit flavor or sweetener. It was very bland. My friend got the Beach Bum smoothie and she said the same thing. Very disappointed.
The girls working did the best of job they could do. They were so understaffed and getting SLAMMED with Uber eats/DoorDash orders to where they couldn’t take care of the actual guests in the building
