My children love this chain- however cleanliness standards are not up to par. Please clean or use a different knife between sandwiches. My pesto and pepper sandwich remnants were smeared on and inside the packaging of my child’s plain ham and cheese wrap. Thankfully no food allergies here but was a surprise and speaks on general cleanliness-
This Tropical Smoothie locations is one of the better ones.The Cafe is clean and has a lot of natural light. You can dine in or out on the open patio.. The staff was also friendly and quick to prepare our order.
We ordered an Avacolada smoothie, a pineapple mango smoothie, a avocado grilled cheese, and a turkey club. Everything was made fresh and tasted delicious! They also have a nice little chip corner and area where the do to go orders that you can place online and pop in to pick up.
Watched the employee Elijah make orders with cups off the floor. As well as watched him touch all on his face without ever washing his hands this whole location is a case of gastro waiting to happen.
I've been coming to this place for a couple years (since I first moved to Oakleaf) and it's always a pleasant visit. I get the same smoothie everytime so I'm not picky on that end; that aside, I've come to know the staff here and they're awesome!
With knowing them as much as I do, it floored me to find out today that they suffered a loss in the building. My deepest condolences go out to everyone struggling through their shift today, as well as the family and friends closely affected...
I hope they get a day to grieve (and attend the services) and my heart is with them ????????
Initial walk in okay, noticed music was too loud, and once my smoothie was ready they shouted a name thats not at all related to my name, and proceeded to demand my reciept when i asked what kind of smoothie it was. Music was too loud for any conversation. No wonder they couldnt hear me. Sad to see.
They all seem to hate their job. The atmosphere was miserable and everyone looked like they would rather be anywhere else. I get days can be tough and some customers can push people over the edge but it’s not good business to make everyone else suffer. The smoothies are great. But it would be even better if the people working didn’t act like our existence in their store was the worst thing to ever happen to them.
They have the best customer service and the management is wonderful. I always have a pleasant experience everytime I go in. Robert was very friendly and provided great service as well!
I love the Island Detox smoothie. I add the protein and coconut to it. The service is always excellent!!
