I stopped in today for a acai bowl. After waiting 45 mins my order was wrong and the friut on top looked old and nasty. Needless to say I definitely won't be returning to this location EVER !!!
I go to this tropical smoothie at least once a week and it’s a great place. every time I go I get served by Gracie. Gracie is the best worker there by far. 10/10 recommend to everyone.
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at your Tropical Smoothie Cafe Mount Dora. My experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to leave a 1-star review.
First and foremost, my order was completely wrong. Not only was it incorrect, but when I brought this to the attention of the staff, they insisted on charging me to correct it. I found this to be unacceptable, as the mistake was entirely on their end.
Furthermore, the wait time for my order was exorbitant. I waited approximately 45 minutes to receive my order, which is completely unreasonable for a smoothie establishment.
Overall, I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the level of service and attention to detail at your Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I had high expectations for my visit, but unfortunately, they were not met. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and address the issues at hand to ensure a better experience for future customers.
I am skeptical of smoothie places due to a bad experience I had at Jamba Juice a few years ago, which involved a nasty employee and nastier fruit. However, due to the heat I decided to try again. I shared with the young lady at the counter (I believe her name was Laylawney) my experience at JJ in August 2021 and she encouraged me to try a smoothie here and guaranteed it would be fresh. It was actually good! I do have to monitor my sugars so I cannot visit frequently, but I will let my daughter’s friends know they may want to try in the future. Thank you.
As much as I love TS Cafe, this location has some serious issues. First and foremost, as soon as I walked in the place, it smelled profusely like vomit. After ordering, I had to wait outside for my order as the smell was so bad that it was making me nauseous. Secondly, witness 2 other customers' frustration as their orders were wrong or missing items. Took 20 minutes to get our order as well. This will be the time I visit this location. The franchisee needs to step it up!
Stopped by to pick up an online mobile order, and when I arrived they were closed and there were not any signs of the store opening. The hours online and on the door said 8am opening, it was 8:05 and the store was completely dark. I waited around til
8:15am and not one sign of anyone showing up at all. (Genuinely hope the employee that was set to open the store is okay - however by the looks of other reviews this wasn't the first time.) I had already paid for my order and there was no way to cancel it in the app. I will no longer preorder... due to being charged with no way to cancel.
I stood there for at least 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. When I finally was, no apology, no greeting, just WHAT CAN I GET YOU? The smoothies are great but service is consistently slow and borders on rude.
Definitely a big fan of the blimey limey and the flatbread sandwiches
