I really don't recommend this place, it's not the first or second bad experience. I went today for some tosti elotes and I asked for the tostilocos separately and the cashier tells me that he charges me a dollar to complete the order, how is it possible that by giving me a separate bag I charge an extra dollar how screwed they are
* I ordered a Turkey torta and got a lettuce torta, REALLY! Called and asked for the manager and they would not give me his name and to call back.
*8/3/19 Please make sure to check they charge you right, this has been my third time and I always get charged way to much, I did not catch it last 2 times until I got home, but this time from $11 it was, she wanted to charge me $24 ???? really. And I said, are you sure, for the special, she smiled and said, ups sorry and gave me the correct amount. The 3 times I've been here, this happened.
Other than that, the food is good, just price unless you get a combo and not get charged extra ????♀️

I've been here 3 times in the last 3 years really trying to give them another shot. (This review is based on my last visit, but it is quite similar to my previous visits. )
Their prices are a bit too high, customer service is non exsistent. I was ignored and told to wait because the male cashier who had reciepts and his phone in hand.
He also seemed quite rude to the rest of the staff.
They took about 40 minutes to prepare a simple order.
When it was time to pick it up, I felt rushed to grab it.
I will say that I do like the idea behind their decor and style. It feels warm and inviting.
I took my order home and shared it with someone else and we both got food poisoning and bad heartburn.
Usually if I don't like the food from a restaurant I just stop going there, and don't make a big deal about it, but the torta I bought here was by far, the worst torta ever. Very basic, and it was supposed to be la especial.
The tomatoes from my torta smelled and tasted spoiled. The lettuce of my salad was also spoiled. It taste horrible. The water and the shake were good but the food not good
I placed an order for my girlfriend over the phone I get their and they didn’t charge correctly, girl working cashier is super rude and unattentive she messed up and couldn’t fix her mistake so she decided to cancel the order instead after I had already paid !!! Stay away from this place it’s the worst and go to Teresita’s on palm ave instead!!
I was going to leave my opinion about the horrible customer service at this place but after reading all the reviews I think everyone can already get an idea of just how terrible it is. Please don’t waste your time and money here. Just go look at how the owner of the place replies to the reviews by calling costumers “liars” and “Karen’s”. What kind of poor professionalism is this? If he would spend the same amount of energy and time training his employees with proper costumer service skills maybe this place would do a lot better. I truly hope they can start learning from their mistakes and start improving.
Ordered the Flammin Hot Tostilocos without peanuts, got regular Tostilocos with peanuts in them.
