We've been twice now and everything we've gotten it very good. Service was mediocre the first time, but great the second. The bartender came to our table and talked to us about what drinks they had available and the specials. She was very friendly, she even let us have a sample of one of the drinks that we weren't sure we'd like.
It was really a great experience. And the portions are HUGE.
Service was horrendous. Stopped there tonight passing thru Troy and won't be back. $3.30 for a DIPPING CUP full of sour cream??!! Never came back and checked on us. Never refilled our drinks. Never gave us napkins. 2 is because the tea and steak was decent. Cheese dip is too spicy and service is non existent. All the other waiters seemed great though, just ours.....$50 is too much for tacos and a steak.

I had hair in my food. I did not see the kitchen staff wearing hair-nets or taking standard safety precautions. Our waitress put the ticket on the table & said "I am going on break." No other staff attempted to help us with our ticket. I guess we were suppose to wait 15 plus minutes for our waitress to finish her break. This place was very unprofessional & the prices were a bit high for basic Mexican food.
First intake of the restaurant is the pungent smell immediately walking in. Was strong and had a foul smell.
Me and my fiancé had enchiladas and a burrito. Both plate upon arrival to the table was luke warm, more on the cold side. It was almost like these were not fresh and right out of the freezer. I would have rather eaten a Enchilada TV dinner. The salsa was super cold and you can tell it was frozen and thawed out before serving.
As I sit in this restaurant writing this review, not even 7 to 10 minutes of eating (not finishing this mess) I feel nauseous like I'm about to puke.
Definitely would not recommend for authentic Mexican food.
My favorite Troy Mexican restaurant. The veggie fajitas are the best I've had with a great mix of veggies well beyond the typical onions, peppers and tomatoes. Julio was our server and treated us like kings.
Everything was amazing! The food was excellent! Honestly, we are snobs when it comes to Mexican food. Everything about this place was exceptional. The food was delicious. The service was awesome and my margarita amazing.
Hands down some of the best food I have ever had. The staff is unbelievably friendly and inviting they treat you like family. I have been traveling to Troy for work a lot lately and this has become my favorite spot to eat. I recommend the Mexican rice add jalapeños and onions and ask for the hot sauce it’s amazing!!!!! Definitely give it a try if your in Troy Alabama.
Excellent food and speedy service. We came for lunch as we were driving through Troy. The fajita taco salad was full of fresh grilled vegetables and steak, great flavor. The taco loco was much the same and huge -it would be great to share with someone. We will definitely come back.
