The outside is deceiving of the ambiance inside,cute place. I didn't recognize any of the wines,so I ask for a taste. Both reds were not very appealing,so I ask if they could make a sangria,which she did. Interesting that the drink was made from the more expensive wine that I told her was terrible and so my drink was $18, the same price as a glass of the wine. She told me that's what the manager put on the tab. I was visiting friend and we both agreed, not to return.
Food was great tonight! The Steak Bites were so tender, Spaghetti and Meatballs were amazing!! Yummy cheesecake and ice cream-- love the flower accent on the desserts!
Had eggs crab Benedict today my eggs were over cooked the Hollandaise look like and tasted like a mustard sauce someone else ordered eggs over easy they too were over cooked the bacon was over cooked the toast was cooked on one side and not on the other side! I am not one to complain in a restaurant so I don’t ! I paid the waitress she was nice and I tipped well and left! I have to say I have been here 3 times before and it was great but BRUNCH is a DISAPPIONTMENT! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Trios is a staple of good food and well-priced gourmet dishes in this small city of Monroe. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly. Paxton, the manager, is amicable and sometimes charming. Fun to be around. Leeah, along with all of the friendly staff, take exceptional care in treating their valued customers. THIS PLACE IS A FREAKING CORNERSTONE.
First of all this restaurant is actually in a gas station. I almost turned around and said forget it, but I figured I'd still give them a chance. The quality of the food was great, and Mollie B. gave great service being the only waitress. She handled everything with a great attitude. For the above average prices, the food was not like "wow" but I'd still recommend it and even return!
I do NOT recommend the food, what I've had is overcooked, burnt, or old. I couldn't eat my meal both times I went. Its a nice place to meet with friends: delicious cocktails, friendly staff & esthetically pleasing decor.
Okay, so this month I decided to explore local gems in my area. I've heard wonderful things about Trios, but I've never actually eaten there before until last weekend.
Here's my take:
Nice atmosphere. The waitress was nice and attentive. Very limited menu choices (which was HUGE disappointment) Everything was served hot and fresh but lacked taste in our opinion. Overall, we were not WOWED.
Went in search of salmon. Ended up ordering a chicken quesadilla. This was the absolute best quesadilla I've had in Monroe. I could actually pick it up without the meat falling out. Most importantly it was grilled with cheese. The only place I'll go to for quesadillas now.
