We are so thankful that you were open on Easter. With just the two of us at home it was a great option for us and loved the idea of a limited menu of some amazing options and was only $25.00 a plate. The ham was cooked and the flavor was out of the world!!!! The portions were perfect and also included the soup and salad bar!!!
Not only was the food amazing but also to all the staff working today. Yes it was busy but didn't wait long at all for our dinner!!
Thank you again to all!!!! Can't wait to come back!!!!
Excellent all around! All ingredients from scratch. All homemade and handmade recipes with LOVE. Wait staff very attentive, friendly and efficient. Kitchen staff very accommodating to special needs diet. Large portion size. You will never learn hungry! Dining area is surrounded by windows. The view is clear and you can see the lake in the winter season. Quaint gift shop with local UP variety of artists displaying their handiwork. Prices are reasonable and very affordable. You will not be disappointed eating at the Triangle Family Restaurant in McMillan.
Going to the Triangle is like going to a family reunion when you actually like your family. It's friendly over fancy. The food is very good. The service is great. Very reasonable prices. You can watch deer and bear cross M-123 while you eat. Someone said they saw a moose a few years back but that's getting off on a tangent, unless it was on the menu.
Anyway...great place in the middle of nowhere and worth your time and support.
Was a pretty nice quick stop, wasn't to busy and nothing crazy special about the place. My friend told me one of the waitresses was wondering why I took so many pictures and i guess she will know why now hahah! Food wasn't bad, service was alright but it was super slow so hard to tell how the place would do under more pressure.
This is a good place to eat...no..great place. Its no frills, just good ol' fashion harty food.
Service was wonderful and we actually came here 15 years ago and of course, today. The wife and I got the fried chicken...it was great. The mashed potatoes were also good especially with the gravy! So if you are in the area and your stomach is grumbling, look no further than The Triangle restaurant. Good food, good service and good prices.
Perhaps it was because this is Easter Sunday... the menu was reduced to five dinner options at $25 a plate, including the salad bar. We did not get $25 worth of food, and the salad bar was sup par. We had the ham dinner. Sadly, the ham had little flavor and you could tell it did a stint under the headlamp. The coffee was weak; I enjoy a good black coffee, and this was neither good nor black. Never once did I see anyone with a pot offering refils for the coffee or water. Perhaps their regular menu is better... I hope it is. This stop was one of opportunity, and it is an opportunity we won't take again.
The service was good and friendly. I enjoyed the perch dinner. The dinner had plenty to eat, including soup and salad bar.
Because it was Easter Sunday, the menu was shortened to five delicious dinner options, all included with soup and salad bar:
•Shrimp Scampi with rice
•Roasted turkey with choice of potato
•Baked ham with choice of potato
•Roasted pork Florentine with choice of potato
•Black Jack steak with choice of potato
My grandmother had the ham and my mother and I had the turkey; everything was absolutely delicious, we were so stuffed we barely had room for their homemade pie!
As it was just the three of us spending the holiday together, my family did not want to cook a big meal and at $25 a plate, this was a great alternative! You can not beat the price or quality.
As most restaurants would normally be closed on Easter, I thank the Triangel Restaurant for being so accommodating to the public for being open and appreciate the staff that were willing to take time away from their families and work on this holiday.
