Went there tonight for a meal, food was lovely and freshly cooked as always. The onion ring stack was just amazing, definitely recommend. The restaurant was busy but Stevie was a perfect host ensuring we had everything we needed. Thanks again, hope to see you soon ????

Outstanding tast to the food. Service was homily and very comfortable. I wish I could have found another excuse to stay longer. This restaurant is the very best of Highland hospitality. My guilty pleasure is the remarkable steak sizzler. I visited many times over the years and its never been less the absolutely ???? perfect.
Located on the roadside A9 just north of Dornoch. Handy location for locals, holidaymakers or those travelling the NC500. Friendly staff and a welcoming comfortable setting. Good selection on menu along with with some daily specials. Reasonable prices and good portion sizes. Serving proper home cooked food with fresh quality ingredients and flavoursome vegetables. No frozen veg here! |Best garlic mushrooms starter I’ve tasted! ||Well recommend and will be returning :)
We happened upon this lovely hotel and Resturant. The owners and staff were lovely and friendly. They gave us information about the area. Dornoch town and beach beautiful and well worth a visit. |The food and hospitality at this hotel is worth 5 stars. Many thanks for a lovely stay.
We felt welcomed, found a good menu plus additional specials to choose from and the meals were fresh and delicious. Portions are plentiful or there’s smaller options. Thought full service - all in all highly recommend a meal here.

I can not express in words how fantastic this place is. Imagine the most relaxing evening, with great food complemented with outstanding wine with the people you hold most dear with a very professional HIGH STANDARD service. Thats where I was not one hour ago. You can't ask for better then an evening of complete happy company, hotel staff included, such a laugh and all together. If you get the chance drop in and just strike up a chat, I guarantee it won't be hard and it's going to be fun.
