I have tried 3-4 stylists since moving to NY 5 years ago but kept going back to my stylist in AZ when I would visit. I wanted to get some highlights and a cut to start the process of growing out my gray and Alyssa was AWESOME. Seriously, the first person I've worked with in a really long time that listened to what I wanted in terms of my layers for my curls. So many folks don't like or don't understand curly/wavy hair and she did an amazing job. The highlights did an excellent job of starting to blend in my gray and we have a solid plan in place for the next few visits to move them forward in the process. She was knowledgeable, set realistic expectations, and took her time to ensure my hair looked it's best. Strongly recommended for anyone but especially the wavies and curlies out there that have been looking. Extremely reasonable prices without the hidden upcharges that are sometimes common in salons these days.
The salon itself is comfortable and has a good vibe with nice decor. Water and snacks were offered. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
I have been voing here since before they moved always nice and great prices. My daughter had her hair and makeup done for her prom they did an amazing job.
Extremely friendly service at this salon and a super comforting atmosphere. Had a haircut appointment last month with Lindsey and she did a really great job with the cut, hard part and eyebrow waxing. Will definitely be back!
I am a hairdresser of 17 years, and I literally fly home for Kaylin to do my hair. All the girls here are wonderful, and I would trust any one of them. Kaylin’s consultations are extremely thorough, and she will only do what is best for your hair. She knows color through and through, and you will walk out feeling amazing! Weedsport is SO lucky to have this place, I’d pay any amount for her!!!!
I hate to do this, I don’t normally write reviews, but my hair is breaking off from damage. I have very healthy hair, I don’t use box dye and I wait long between treatments.
I had owner Kaylin, I showed her some beige blonde pictures I liked. I told her I did not like golds and to please not put G’s in my hair. She informed me that G’s are a base for color to last longer, I asked for N (natural) to be a base instead and she said she would. I told her I don’t want to be platinum or yellow. She over processed my hair and was making comments like “make sure to use Olaplex” and “did you always have these short hairs in the front” I didn’t put 2 and 2 together until I got home and my hair is breaking off and the strands are stretchy! On top of it at the end of the service I asked what toners she put, she put G in my hair. It is bright yellow blonde.
The cut I asked for was short in the front and longer in the back with a blunt cut and not pointy cut, if I pull my hair forward it is longer in the front and shorter in the back. $400+ for a hairstyle I literally asked for her not to do.
I put 2 stars because they were very friendly there, despite not listening to what I wanted.

Today was my first time visiting Trendsetters haircutter. I was a bit nervous not knowing how everything was going to turn out. I can’t be more pleased with the whole experience. Tiana was my haircutter, and she did a wonderful job! In addition to doing a great job, she is a super nice person. She was very personable and made me feel extremely comfortable. I highly recommend going here to get you hair done. I have decided Tiana will be my permanent haircutter. Thank you!
Made an appointment for my 3 boys only to have my husband sit for over an hour after their appointment time. Hair cuts were awful. They all asked for fades. Not one of my boys hair was blended. You can literally see lines where they switched clipper size. We figured we would give it a try being so close to home. Never again. Oh, and they charged 3 dollars more per hair cut then they had said 2 hrs prior to calling.
