I recommend if you are going to stay here you book through a third party app so they cannot add to your bill. I showed up last night and was placed into a dirty room that someone else had been in that day but he moved out because they had hot water trouble. I asked for my money back and I'd go some place else and the gal at the front desk said only the owner is allowed to do refunds and good luck getting it out of him. I changed rooms and stayed. This morning there is an extra charge on my bill for a "safe fee" that they could have easily had on the bill last night.
The young lady at the front desk was helpful but don’t stay here, tv remote was missing, pool has been shut down for the last 9 months the employee told us. There are no amenities that were advertised in the photos. The bath tub was clogged and there is not hot water. The only good thing about this place is the location and the prices, usually these hotels do better but this one needs a rehab!!
The staff at this hotel is incredible!! I’ve stayed here twice and both times I was greeted by an extremely nice helpful and friendly employee. Thank you so much Travelodge for your great employees :)
Price is also very good. The first time I was stopped it was in the middle of a winter storm and I got one of the last rooms left. Still only about 70$ so I appreciate that they don’t price gouge.
Disgusting place to stay but had no choice as no other places available. Two homeless guys right outside our room changing their clothes. Stripped down mattress to see what I was going to be sleeping on and it was littered with dog and people hair. Room stank of something?? Should have saved my $200 Cdn and slept in the car…would have been cheaper, cleaner and safer!!
This place is a drug hub. It like the workers live at the hotel and you need to call a cell phone to get someone to the front desk. There was people talking loudly right outside the room and horns beeping randomly until 1 am. Was woke in the morning at 6 am with more loud people right outside the door. People smoking weed outside the door with the smell coming into the room. No TV remote in the room upon arrival. They brought in a remote and couldn't get it to work, giving up after a short time and left it saying we could probably figure it out. Shady people roaming around. A guy was eating his boogers right before getting coffee in the lobby. Gross.
We stayed in the suit and the room was nice, a big jacuzzi tub, it was cracked but nothing to crazy or to the point it couldn't be used. The only issue with our stay is the morning we checked out we had an 8:30 am room check, when check out was 11 am, while I was in the shower and my husband was still in bed. Then at 10am staff came to drop off a trash can.
The front desk person was friendly upon arrival. The room seemed a little updated when we first entered. But upon further observation, we discovered it to be dirty. The floors were dirty and you could feel the dirt when walked on. We used a towel on the bathroom floor as a bath mat (there was none) and afterward, it was black from the dirt on the bathroom floor. The shower curtain was absolutely disgusting. The shower water was lukewarm. The bedding was very lacking and we had to take the blanket from the second bed to double up on the one bed to stay warm. The tv had to be turned on from the back of the tv instead of the remote. The only thing we enjoyed about the stay was the location and the price.
Upon check-in, we were informed that the computer system was down and they were having customers call to check-in, from the lobby, then they'd be assigned a room. But they were double booking customers, and putting people in already occupied rooms.
They couldn't give us key cards to the rooms because the system was down, so one of the workers was letting people into their rooms with his master key. But how would we get back in, if we needed to leave?
What we saw of the hotel was dirty, with construction supplies scattered around. It appeared that the pool was out of service, and based on a review from 8 months ago, it's been that way for awhile.
We ended up staying elsewhere, and are currently fighting with corporate for a full refund of our deposit.
Judging by previous reviews, we really dodged a bullet by not staying here. This entire ordeal has left a negative taste for anything owned and operated by Wyndham.
