One of the best Italian restaurants in Boca. The chicken parmigiana reminded me of Craig’s in LA, absolutely thin and delicious. The homemade linguine and clams was terrific. And I’m not a fan of US tiramisu but it was also great. In Italy it’s 20x better in general. Service was attentive, quick and most importantly, friendly. Also a great people watching restaurant thats busy 7 days a week. Definitely worth a visit.
Trattoria Romana's authentic Italian fare reminds me of my honeymoon in Rome with my wife. The cozy atmosphere paired with excellent wines and the homemade pasta never fails to impress. Great place to enjoy our anniversary!
Been anticipating this place for so long and it was well worth the wait! From the wine to the appetizers, Food presentation and the restaurants wonderful atmosphere i was blown away. Best Italian hands down in South Florida! Definitely worth the drive if you don’t live close by! Cant wait to be back and try more!
Descent food in East Boca despite a very small menu. Crowded and very loud but the wait wasn’t that long for my res. Shrimp scampi and the veal was good. Will come back.
The service here is the best thing about this place.
It was recommended by my server to get the giant meatball. I was upset about this because it was not very good. Very bland in flavor. The center had onion pepper and prosciutto, something I’ve never seen before, and did not like. The prosciutto in the center was dry.
I ordered rigatoni a la vodka with chicken the pasta was a bit over cooked and the vodka sauce was like water. The chicken was the best part of this dish. And most definitely not worth over $30 price point they charge for it. Overall I was not impressed with the food here, nor would I recommend either of these dishes.
I had a good experience. the service was excellent and the dishes were delicious. On this day I wanted it to be a happy family moment for my son; when he accidentally spilled water on my plate the waiter promptly came and replaced it with another one without charging. Thank you for your kindness.
My only criticism is that the decor is a little theme-y/dated but the food is excellent. We had the fried calamari and fish salad to start. Then the lamb chops, red snapper, and veal as mains. Every dish was to die for!
It’s like you’re in Italy. The food is great and the service is good. The wine was also fantastic. The stuffed meatball was massive but so so good. The cheesecake was like a lemon ricotta
