We are locals but spend 3 months each year in Italy. It was so nice to find a real Italian trattoria right here in the desert. Luba and Elio are amazing hosts. Chef Elio creates amazing dishes and their staff is wonderful. Carlos and all the wait staff are so kind...it was a real pleasure dining with them. We will see you soon!!????
Very little charming Italian restaurant. Owners are a couple. Husband is a wonderful Italian chef, and wife is a sweet and friendly Russian hostess. Real gem in Palm Desert. We love it ????????
Lovely extremely small Italian restaurant with wonderful owners with good food. The price for what you get is completely shocking. One very small serving of lasagna was like $29 a bill for three main courses bread and round of drinks was just under $200 Without tip. If you want a cup of clam chowder, be prepared to pay $25. We live in Colorado, and often pay high prices for food, but this was way over-the-top.
Come here! Small intimate place. Service outstanding. Luda (sp) was fantastic as was all staff. Food outstanding. Had a reservation for the bar. They were running late and brought me a glass of Prosecco. Ended up at a table. It was so good! And it’s refreshing to have great service! I’d go back in a heartbeat.
Great experience despite being seated 45 minutes after our reservation time. Restaurant was backed up, but the owner/wife was very apologetic and had us wait outside with complimentary Prosecco.
Once seated they went over the menu, specials and gave recommendations based off our preferences. Most of the pastas are homemade, and the housemade lasagna is amazing. They give good wine recommendations too. Will go back.
Wow I’m speechless
I was at Indian wells and I asked 15-20 locals what their favorite restaurant was and they said this was it.
I ordered 4 pastas on the menu and it blew my mind. The chef (Elio) and his wife Luba were 12/10.
Best lasagna I’ve ever had 12/10
The spicy rigatoni with a light Indian influence was a 10/10

We discovered this gem of a restaurants while looking for another place. The food is just amazing, I ca say some of the best in the desert. Service was awesome and all the staff were super friendly. We had 5 different dishes and one was better than the other one. I highly recommend this place.
This was the smallest portion I have ever received in a restaurant! We got the Marsala chicken and there were literally two pappardelle noodles rolled up next to the chicken. And they ask you if you want some bread for the table and then charge $10 for 4 mini pieces. And they charge more for wine than what’s on the menu so definitely look at the bill. When I pointed it out to the waiter it was clear that he knew. Paid $130 for 3 main courses with no appetizers and one glass of wine and left hungry. Food was tasty just way too little.
