I was so glad to be leaving Wichita following the ghosting of my now ex in the neighboring Garden Plain locality. Thank goodness the bus leaving Wichita was on time and early getting me back home in Kansas City, Missouri!
The transit center staff was also very helpful when they were still open and the security staff that checked on the wellness of myself and others after hours into the wee hours in the morning.

They treat me well. The bus drivers are very understanding, patient, and accommodating.
As an international student, I’m using Wichita Transit for over a year. They operate their last service around WSU between 10-10:30pm. The buses are mostly on time with average delay of ~3-5min. Thanks for providing free transit for students like me.
Easy to find your bus ticket with all the signs. A sign is always updating with the latest times for the next bus arrivals. Mostly clean and employees are constantly around to clean and keep everyone safe. Inside, you can purchase passes, check the route map, and there’s a live attendant. They have an app to get directions and times for each route and individual buses. You can even check each stop/pickup location, what times the bus stops there, and whether it’s on time, early, or late. They have a second app that lets you purchase digital passes. I think the bus schedule could be improved (longer service hours and shorter times between bus stops—political and economical issues) but the bus station and service is great. The drivers are good and friendly.
Employees are very rude and busses are late most of the time. Bathrooms are dirty and stink horribly.
6am busses start, 6pm finish. 45 minutes apart all day. Wichita Transit app download to see where they are and going all day! Busses go by route number, in both directions on a fixed route!
I was there to apply for the Senior rider's program. My photo was snapped and I received my 1/2 fare ID card. The entire process took perhaps 10 minutes. The agent was friendly and courteous, it was a pleasant experience
