This is a pretty fast service restaurant that will bring your food to your table after ordering. You can order at the check out or do a mobile order. There are some nice views of Bay Lake from inside the restaurant and there is an arcade and bar there, too. The food here is not as expensive and is closer to counter service food and pricing. They have a nice covered deck outside to shield you from the Sun and so you can enjoy the views.
My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Trail's End Restaurant for three consecutive nights, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere.
The highlight of our dining experience at Trail's End was undoubtedly the fried chicken. We couldn't resist ordering it every night, and it never failed to impress. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a tender and juicy interior. The flavors were simply mouthwatering, leaving us wanting more with each bite. We were thoroughly impressed by the chef's skill in preparing such a delicious dish.
Despite the restaurant being busy during the New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, the staff at Trail's End were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Their warm and welcoming approach added to the overall positive ambiance of the restaurant.
Speaking of ambiance, Trail's End Restaurant is a beautiful establishment. The attention to detail in the decor and layout created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The combination of rustic elements and modern touches added to the overall charm of the space. It truly enhanced our dining experience and made us feel comfortable and relaxed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Trail's End Restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The delicious and crispy fried chicken alone is worth a visit, but the overall ambiance and exceptional service take it to another level. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable meal with your loved ones, Trail's End is the place to go.
Kudos to the staff and management at Trail's End for creating such a wonderful dining experience. We are grateful for the memories we made at your restaurant and look forward to returning in the future.
We are frequent flyers when it comes to staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. It continues to be a favourite for us although it is getting a little pricey. Sadly our favourite campground restaurant Trails End has become a quick service food stand. No more full service buffet style meal. The selection is minimal, quality not very good and the fun Trails End atmosphere is gone. When we’d check in and get set up at our site our first stop was almost guaranteed to be dinner at Trails End. No more. We now go off property to Millers Ale House which is very good and just a five minute drive away. I’m a lifelong Disney fan but so many of the wonderful qualities that I loved about Disney are becoming history. Makes me sad. Don’t waste your money on Trail End.
This is a new restaurant, and it was ok. They bought my food out late and it was the wrong thing and when I do get mine it was dry. It had good flavor. The staff were very friendly and the the building really didn’t change much from the last place.
My husband and I wanted a small meal, something like 2 pieces of chicken and a small vegetable. We were told by 3 different employees that we had to take what was there on the hot shelf, which was a whole chicken, a pound of green beans and a large mashed potatoes, far more food and expense than we wanted, but we took it because we were tired and hungry. The fried chicken was not crisp, the flavor wasn't bad but the coating was mushy. The green beans were good, there was just far too much for two people. The mashed potatoes were crusty and I think they had been under the heat lamp for a long time. It was the most depressing meal we have ever had at Disney. I'd also like to say that it feels like we, as a couple, were not wanted at this restaurant. Everything there is designed for families or larger groups. I don't think we will be going back.
A great, now quick service, restaurant with plenty of bbq options available. I can highly recommend the smokehouse pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, and plenty of brisket. For desert the pb&j cupcake was great, not overly sweet and plenty of pb taste. My only complaint would be the nutter butter on top was soggy.
Family Style breakfast. Everyone was SO NICE. Also very attentive to some gluten allergies at our table. My favorite part of the meal was the cheesy potatoes…after the Mickey shaped waffles of course ☺️
After many years celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions, today we came to say goodbye to Trails End. This restaurant started as a buffet with a variety of options and a delicious bread pudding as one of dessert options. After Covid became Family Style, but the food continued been very tasteful. We will definitely miss this place✨
