Visiting from out of town and saw this place was reviewed well. Not going to name names here but the dude completely cut up my neck on the taper and it was pretty painful. Not sure if it was a dull blade scenario or a newer barber but it hurt pretty bad. Didn’t say anything since I’ve never had this issue and thought it was me, but sure enough I got cuts on my neck from where he worked. Certainly not coming back here.
My son (he's 10 now,) we have followed Jason, from 2 different shops, to a cut done once at his house (waiting for grand opening,) n then to Traditions Barber Company!!! A friend referred us to him, years ago, only barber her son ever had... N after that first cut, he was the only one for us, until 2023... With his business being so family friendly, along with amazing cutting skills, n affordable prices, of course he's booked n busy... So I trusted him n knowing he would only hire the best, I allowed the other barbers to cut my son's hair.. N now, I'm ok with walking into a barbershop(this one only tho,) n letting whoever cut my son's hair, even in the 1st chair..????
Cuz I know it's going to be the same experience n close enough cut ???? from the other guys in Traditions, as it would be booking with the boss himself...

Sometimes in a barbershop the convos can get alil uncomfortable or to much for kids ears, but this shop, you will never experience that.. It's so welcoming, modern, professional, entertaining, n overall a place for anyone... Also Traditions, does a lot of service work by volunteering/ donating their time n services, n even giving????to the community/ events!!! This shops crew, are a few in this town that can be that face for a model figure for aspiring young cutters, fs!!!

Adam worked me in after a disaster of a cut from a chain we all know and use only when we have to. Great cut, great service. Will definitely be my go to barber in Port Charlotte
I’m only sad that I didn’t find the shop sooner myself!! We went as a recommendation from a friend and won’t be going anywhere else.
1,000/10 for being able to cut my toddler’s hair (3yrs old) and getting him to sit thru the whole thing. Adam is amazing with kids!
Brice cut my older son’s hair (11yr old) and did an exceptional job as well!
Everyone in the shop is polite and the place is clean. Pricing is comparable to other barbershops/salons, but the overall experience and professionalism exceeds any competitor. I don’t normally take the time to leave reviews, but had to share this gem.
Very good, a very fun and welcoming shop over all good prices and good work. I highly recommend this barber shop and Jason.
I brought my 3 year old here for a haircut and will definitely be coming back! All of them were so sweet to him and I’m very pleased with the results as well. Definitely recommend!
Adam is AMAZING with my kiddo’s hair. A day after this cut, I couldn’t walk for 2 minutes out in public without someone complimenting his haircut. Grown men were stopping me to ask me where I take my son. We won’t go anywhere else. Thank you, Adam!
100% recommend this place. I have been going to Jason for 7 years now. Never disappointed. He recently opened his own business and the guy is a star. From a barber, to a therapist, to just someone to crack some jokes with, he’s your guy. Also all the other barbers. Kudos to Traditions barbershop for their professionalism wether you are a walk in or someone who’s been with the same barber for years.
