This place must have reopened under this name so while driving through, we decided to give it a try. Typical standard fare menu...for a small town restaurant. Had a buffet that looked unused but it was before usual lunch time on a Sat. Others food looked good and they seemed satisfied. Nice young waitress that took my order that was very specific (due to a strict doctor's orders diet) but the cook didn't make it that way. She checked and he said it was made that way but after questioning it again, it was remade and looked very different. I'm not a picky person but when an order isn't what you've ordered ....and you've said it's very important....and the cook again says it is, that's not good for business. Hopefully he isn't the owner. Maybe working a holiday weekend wasn't where the cook wanted to be. Service was great though.
Let's start off with the drinks. My husband asked for coffee and I asked for sweet tea. My husband said the coffee tasted like it had sat there on the burner for 3 hours. The sweet tea was cloudy so I new it was spoiled. It had to be at least three days old. Service was poor waitress couldn't answer simple questions like what is the vegetable .Said she was going to ask never did.Our appetizers and my husband's yellow shedded lettuce and ???? salad???? ,and our appetizers came at the same time as our meal. What an overwhelming and rushed feeling. The loaded potato skins are not potato skins the are frozen potato wedges with can cheese and bacon on top. Every thing is package food from a company.Over cooked can green beans that was luke warm surprising to find bacon. Tenderloin greasy and tasted of frozen prossesed mystery meat??No water served and no refills on drink. No check up on service. And I could go on. I had asked the waitress if she was new and she said no she had always worked there. I was a waitress for about 15 , 16 years so I really believed she was a new waitress on the job. There was 8 small table's and 2 table's of 5 and she could not even keep up. There was no smile and no charm. Asked for our check it took her 20 minutes to bring it. Asked for a to go container 3 times and after 40 minutes went by we just walked out. The only reason we waited was we wanted to see how long it would take for her to grab a container out or the kitchen when taken ticket back there. If they would put as much effort into their food as and their service as they did their Decore it would be a 6.5 ????. I would not recommend to no one.
Food okay! I had the pulled pork sandwich, with fries. Could've been a little better, but it wasn't terrible. I look forward to trying something different there.
Staff has always been friendly when we go in. I love the country charm, it is decorated so cute. Good food, But I wish there was more of a variety.
Great food. Surprisingly nice restaurant at the crossing of 150 and 36. There was also some fun karaoke happening on the Tuesday night we were there.
Food was excellent, cozy and charming atmosphere. Great service... Chrisman definitely needs a nice place like this!!!
