I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Jamaican authentic bakery, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked Jamaican delicacies. The bakery offers a wide variety of food that is not only authentic but truly finger-licking good. I tried their Jamaican vegetable patty, which was flaky and filled with flavorful fillings which transported me straight to the heart of Jamaica. I will definitely visit again!
It can be very busy at times however I tend to go when it's a little less busy. Food taste good, I order rice and peace and chicken. Yet to order other food and as such will update. However this is also my go to place for a patties they are 10 10 here's. Greate taste.
Traditional Caribbean bakery,serving hot meals(including soups,stews,fish,fried chicken,plantain,patties,remember to ask if you want meals hot or not)narrow customer shop area so doesn’t take long to become crowded but adds to the very friendly atmosphere,cash or card accepted,paid parking available on Westerfield Road or free if you park in the multi storey Tesco opposite Seven Sisters station.
I am sad to write a bad review as I always want to support local and independent businesses, but I must warn that this place made me very very sick by selling me contaminated jerk chicken and rice. Avoid if you don't want to risk a night of stomach cramps!!
Bought some jerk chicken had to throw it away, chicken was hard an rubbery like it was made days ago and reheated. Salt fish pattie had no salt fish, Won't be returning.
Excellent portion size.. Great flavours.. Fresh breads....one of the best carribean shops in north south east or West... A real jamaican experience of yardie cuisine.
Served me a Patty that was raw in the middle and gave me horrific food poisoning.
On a different occasion tried a fried dumpling that was dry & tough- also cold in the middle.
