Best KPortal Reviews
The service and prices are the highlights of this place. Love the host and it was a great experience with her, always. Beef Bibimbab is great with the medium specify source. So was the Teriyaki Chicken. Which is sweet and we'll balanced. I had Ra-Bo-Ki (Spicy Rice Cake with Ramen Noodles) the other day and it was fine. Maybe I'm not a fan of Rice cake. All in all, a great experience.
The best Korean restaurant in Bloomington in terms of price and convenience. Kimbaps and Cupbaps are great. Also the noodle options are great, too. Toto's serves quickly. It is owned by the same owner who owns Ami Restaurant on the 3rd street, so the food quality at Toto's is similar to Ami's.
4/5 I'm ok with it
I stopped for a quick bite for lunch. I had the Japanese curry to go. Unfortunately I didn't get to eat it until later, but it still tasted warm and yummy when I got a chance to eat it. I'm pretty sure they played it safe with the Japanese curry. It wasn't anything too new or unique. And I'm ok with it. It was tasty. The sides didn't really work with the curry, but they were also tasty themselves.
The reason I'm giving it a 4/5 is becuase it didn't wow me. But I enjoyed it and I don't mind coming back since it's a safe choice I know will be here.
Service was great. The place was clean.
Small cafe with Korean and Japanese fare located near apartment housing. Descent prices with fairly good food. The cafe is cramped with limited seating so be prepared to go when it's slow or take your order to go. Sushi was dry, the bulgogi tasty, and the tteokbokki spicy. 7/10
Small but mighty Ramen stand with amazing noodles and Kimbap at very reasonable prices. The dining room is small but clean and efficient. The staff are friendly and helpful. Delicious noodles and broth with a spicy and sweet house hot sauce. A little out of the way but worth the drive.
They are OPEN!! Prices are still very affordable. We ordered spicy chicken kimbap ($5.50), tteokbokki/spicy rice cake ($6 something), and tofu bibimbap ($8.50).They came with kimchi and pasta salad.
Part of the restaurant has been turned into a small grocery store, selling Korean snacks and drinks. It's very convenient for students living in the neighborhood, but the dining area is much smaller now.
This is such a nice little cafe! I got the seafood rice bowl. It is delicious! The staffs are friendly. The place is clean and well maintained. I will definitely come back again!
I came here on my lunch break and wow this place did not disappoint. If you want authentic bibimbap that is full of flavor and a little grocery area to get your favorite Korean snacks then this is definitely a place to check out! Truly blown away by how authentic the food is.
