my favorite tacos in the city! the tortillas are made at the facility, they are so delicious and you can buy them too. the ingredients are all so fresh and come together so delicious. cash/venmo only. the vibes are also so nice and comfy. everything on the menu is great and there’s great vegetarian options.
Ordered a torta & two chicken tacos. Torta was alright. A little skimpy on ingredients. Tacos were good though. Stick to the tacos here.
I don’t usually get chicken tacos but felt like I haven’t had one in forever. Didn’t disappoint!
Amazing tacos in a no frills environment. Portions were large and food came out quick! Great spot for us to grab a meal before heading to a show nearby at House of Yes. While the seating area is bare bones, I appreciate that they have so much seating since most casual spots have no place to sit at all!
Price to portion size ratio for the tacos is lovely, and probably one of the better ones in the area overall. Cozy when it’s gloomy out.
We had a trio of al pastor taquitos and it was the best Mexican food we had in the city. Having lived in San Diego and SF, we always missed good tacos -- since we haven't yet found any good place in the city -- and this place had good vibes and most importantly, delicious and authentic Mexican fare.
We dined at the patio area which felt like we were in Mexico.

I ordered 3 tacos Al pastor, they were alright, nothing special. The tacos came cold and were a bit salty. Overall, the tacos were not the best and there’s far better places out there for authentic tacos :)
The food is pretty decent but the cook really hates it if you have allergies. I am lactose and heard him complaining about 'no cream, no cheese, no nothing.' Then the next time there was cheese and sour cream, then the next time he just put no meat on and just put lettuce and tomato.
I don't honestly think you should have to apologize for food allergies but here we are.
Been coming here for years now. Every chance I get to be in this area, I try to stop by and grab some tacos from this place. I’ve brought some friends here every time I’ve gone and they’ve enjoyed it. It’s hard to find authentic Mexican tacos in nyc and this place is definitely the spot. Key ingredients, simple and good. Always a treat to come back here for some good tacos. Right off the L train. Highly recommend.
