Good food but really bad service, the waiter will get your order wrong and argue with you. The waiter was No good ..!
If you like eating tortas/tacos while basking in green & red neon lights, and telenovelas blaring in the background, you've found your place.
There are so many different types of tortas to choose from. Chicken, beef, veggie are only the beginning and you can customize them too (I recommend adding refried beans). Although they may look huge, they are just the right size.
Same goes for the tacos, but the best part are the tortillas. I can't tell if they're homemade or not, but it's telling of how good they are.
The main reason I stop in — the agua frescas. Pineapple, cantaloupe, or good ol cucumber lime, they are all refreshing. They also make fresh juices, of which I recommend the carrot & apple. All served in HUGE glasses. It's like a Latin Octoberfest.
Service and prices are great too. Give it a try.
Started coming to this place three weeks ago and there was a friendly waiter who was happy to serve us. Not sure where she went but haven’t seen her. The food quality has declined as well. The torta I got today was clearly made up of asad that was left on the grill to long and little burnt pieces along with it. I can tell the cook scraped the grilled to make this torta which is deplorable and lazy.
Wont be coming back
First time trying this place since my wife recommended it after visiting the area she attended University. We currently live in Tennessee and were looking to eating here with family. We showed up at 7:00 pm, one hour before closing yet it was already like they were closed. As you could see in the picture, all the tables and chairs were stacked to the right and they said we could eat inside. We were able to sit while we waited but they said they needed to clean before closing. Also, they had no agua Frescas available since the “lady left”. Overall service wasn’t that great. If a restaurant is opened to 8:00 they shouldn’t make seating unavailable an hours before. Won’t be coming back.
It's ok place, is the food worth it? Eh is good but not the price I paid for but it's not bad, you guys be the judge
Tried the Fontana torta. It had good meat in it. My bf tried asada frijol one.
Cashier was quick with customers. Which was great bc I was hungry lol
Here was a sign on the cashier that said something about getting charged a service fee or something like that but it will be credited back if paying by cash. I did pay with cash. I didn’t see it at all on the check so that was fine…
Food came out quick. Also great bc I was hungry ha.
The Agua fresca de limon was delicious. It was a bit too sugary for my liking so I made two out of it ????
This place was recommended through someone’s Instagram story post. I’m glad I came to check it out. Will come back.
Delicious brunch tortas and aguas frescas right off the 60 fwy! I recommend calling prior to arriving as they take orders by phone, so it would be ready by the time you arrive if you are taking to go. Parking is limited since it's in a plaza with other localities. The pierna with aguacate & queso oaxaca is a favorite and their morning menu has the best waffles topped with strawberries & banana slices.
Delicious food. Very authentic and customer service was great.
