The staff were very kind to me and my father. And I have autism and my father has a severe physical disability so we can be hard customers to deal with due to the nature of our illnesses. The place was nice and clean as well, with a lot of items in every section for whatever you're looking for.
We visit this great store every time we are in town during the November deer hunting season. The staff is amazing and they have everything that we could ever need and at great prices.
I enjoy the size and layout of this grocery store, it's not too big and ever item place makes sense. There are always plenty of checkers and they carry the groceries to your vehicle. The meat department really shines. Everyone is very friendly & welcoming.
Hometown shopping experience. Stopped in to purchase a gift card for my mom for Christmas. Was met with a smile and pleasant attitude. Great to know that the small town grocery stores are still being the friendly service even in these hard times
I love this grocery store. I've lived in several big cities, and this store has better variety than some of the best high end grocers in Chicago or Washington. Excellent customer service, great local meats...highly recommend Torpin's.
Torpins is a regular down-home grocery store. Facility is clean and well-maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They offer the regular array of commercially produced food items, plus a few organic food items and a small selection of gluten-free products. If they can, they will order in requested items as well.
This is a great hometown grocer. I appreciate their larger produce selection and seasonal produce. Torpin's don't sell alcohol, but they do sell a variety of fresh baked products and more specialty baked goods that O'Neill Superfoods. I tend to find the layout of Torpin's to be a bit better for my shopping, but this is really minor. One constructive criticism might be that their fresh cut meat packages tend to leak more than average, but this is easy to fix by sealing the plastic wrap with a hotter sealer, so not a big fix. Having two nice grocery stores in town is really nice. I suppose I can't put my finger on any specific single reason, but I tend to shop with Torpin's more often. I would recommend this store to others.
