Who doesn’t love torchy?! I discovered they have breakfast tacos and I cannot believe how fantastic they are. I’ve been going there for a very long time, but I never noticed the breakfast side of the menu. Of course I had to get a jarrito orange beverage, which is always fantastic. Bring a friend or a loved one, and enjoy. You’ll thank me later.
This place is Definitely a hot spot, but not for me. The table service doesn't interact with their customers and smiles are available in response to yours. They are there to do a job but lack passion for what they do! Your food is delivered to your table with nothing more.
The person at the register was very helpful and willing to help this first and most likely last time order. This said, she wasn't ready to make a recommendation. She was initially reading me the menu. She did eventually tell me the best seller and her favorite. But proceeded to read the menu again until I stopped her choosing her favorite and the best seller. The trailer taco a hit, the other was a miss. Chip and Sala are extra, all and all it depends on the experience and your taco choice as to whether or not you will love this place or not.
The promise of "Damn good" tacos is an over sell!
Torchys has great food. Tacos are not your normal everyday tacos. Everything I had was delicious. Bartender was very nice and drinks were on point. I'll be coming back for more.
I was visiting Denver and my friends told me I need to go to Torchy’s. My favorite one was the Tipsy Chick and it was as their slogan says - damn good. The workers there were very friendly too. I will definitely be going back
Popped in for lunch while in Denver for work. I currently live in a tacoless area, which made my experience here all the better. The Tipsy Chick was amazing!! Try this place. So. Much. Flavor!!! Great service and cool vibe too. Love it!
Enjoyed several appetizers, plantains with a sweet Habanero are yummy. The crispy fries Casaba with garlic mojo are delicious. Every other Fridays are a TREAT with live music, dancing and of course GREAT service
Update: 3 months with no action. The manager Andy acted like he cared and said he would take action, but didn't.
Ordered a burrito with no guacamole and it was stuffed with guacamole. Not only that but also has two sharp shards of metal. I asked for the manager, and was told to wait. 10 minutes waiting and I went looking for one. Asked at the kitchen, told to wait. 5 minutes later, I asked again and she told me she'd be right with me. Shay was her name, and she offered to comp my meal, but I was mostly concerned with other customers and internal bleeding. I asked for an incident report and not only did she not return to our table, I didn't get my refund. As you can see from the photos, I took the burrito apart looking for more metal, but I didn't eat it obviously. Very disappointed and worried about others if employees can't keep metal out of the food.
I walked in and the first thing I noticed was that the entire place smelled like a cleaned porta John in the summer time. I noticed a few flies but that wasn’t a big deal. The flies became a big deal when we sat down… OMG!! The amount of flies that swarmed our food was disgusting. The floors were gross, the reflector walls were atrocious. The entire time I’ve been writing this review I’ve been swatting flies off myself, my babies, and my food. I’ve been sitting here for an hour and the table next to me hasn’t been cleaned once, there’s food all over it and flies enjoying their buffet.
