Really nice lake, our campsite had water and electric hookups for the motorhome. We go there pretty much every year.
A really calm, serene lake easily accessible right off of 395. There is a somewhat large turnout going north on 395 where you can park and walk down to the lakeshore. Very few people, no nearby noise and surrounded by mountains on all sides. Highly recommend a stop here, I look forward to seeing what it's like in winter.
The lake was awesome at night watching the stars. It was not crowded plenty of access to fish a little bit rocky and unfortunately didn't catch a fish. Better luck next time.
As far as a fishing lake goes, this is top notch. Great scenery, shore fishing and trawling. Places to stay near by, and a few campgrounds for us adventurous crowd.
We love going to the beach and the water is cool and refreshing. The price for camping is reasonable and we really appreciate going for the day , the only thing that would make it nicer is if they would spray for mosquito's I hate them LoL
Its beautiful. Honestly it would be difficult to find an issue with spending the day here! The lidge is right there for lodging & its truly a nice place to swim , play, relax , etc. Respect it's beauty & take yojr trash with you when you leave.
Big enough for lots of entertainment, small enough to not have crowds.
Enjoyed our camping here, need to come back with kayak.
