Best KPortal Reviews
"This family-run diner is a top-notch eatery offering American breakfast, lunch, and dinner options at decent prices. The menu is extensive, and the takeout service is reliable. I highly recommend the breaded veal cutlet with mashed potatoes, salad, lemon rice soup, and rice pudding for dessert. The food is delicious, portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. Vegetarian options are plentiful, and parking is usually available. This place has the best lemon rice soup in the area. The homey atmosphere and filling meals make it a must-visit breakfast joint."
Top notch is a nice family dining area. That have a large menu to pick from so whatever ever your hungry for more than likely they will have. You can't go wrong. The waitresses are pleasant and helpful, the food is hot and delicious it feels like you're at your Aunt's house having supper. The prices are very reasonable also.
This place used to have THE best French toast. The service and atmosphere were fantastic. Not so much anymore. My wife and I had to wait for the hostess and waitress to finish their conversation first before the two even acknowledged we were standing there. After being seated, the service was slow, and the waitress after bringing out our food ( which was barely hot ), only checked on us once. And that's because I had to flag her down. We both felt sick shortly after leaving, too...Whatever has happened to this place... it's not good. We will not be back.
I would actually give a zero rating if I could. The host (assume the owner) was rude from the moment we walked in. The waitress was nice enough if not extremely slow. The food was completely disgusting and left my wife my children and myself not feeling well after we left. The only bright spot if you could find one was the onion rings. I will never go again and will never recommend this place to anyone or anything.
A hidden gem! My wife and I have become two to three times a week regulars. Never had a bad meal or waited for refills. Best staff, great owner, and filling food! A MUST for anyone who loves to eat!
A simple family run diner. Clean. Decent prices. Large menu. I ordered once again takeout. My favorite entree: the breaded veal cutlet. It comes with mashed potatoes, a salad, choice of soup (I had the lemon rice) AND a dessert (I had the rice pudding).
$16 total with tax.
The salad is basic but fresh. I chose ranch dressing and it was fine.
The soup is strong and hot. You can taste the lemon. It came with saltine crackers and two rolls. Very good.
The breaded veal cutlet was HOT and covered in the best gravy. The potatoes were also great. Definitely recommend.
Dessert was rice pudding. It came with a little whipped cream topping and cinnamon. Very good.
It is TOP NOTCH!
I was warmly welcomed, the waitress was super nice. I ordered lemon rice soup but it was too lemony for me, she switched it for free with Cauliflower soup which was delicious. The food was good and fresh. It was sizzling, I wrote this review while I was waiting for my food to cool down a little bit. Yummy!!
Where do o start ... from the beginning I guess. I orders fried mushroom, as an app, and navy bean soup with my entree which was a reuben, with onion rings, and an Arnold Palmer.
Maybe it's because I'm from New Jersey where 95% of all the diners are good at the very least, not this place, tho
The mushrooms and the soup came at the same time befoe the drink, wich by the was only unsweetened tea not an Arnold palmer. The mushrooms came out too fast and were soggie, and the soup tasted canned. But let me get to the reuben ... bread was burnt, corned beef was grossly over booked to the point it was breaking into chunks and had a grey appearance. The 1000 island was served on the side, and it was PINK!! I asked the waitress what it was, she told me it was made in-house... still, not appetizing at all. You know where I'm from when in doubt order a reuben ... not here my friends ... stay away
