Came to Cortland for the solar eclipse and stumbled across a great lunch spot called Top Notch Diner!
I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and my wife ordered the French Toast. These were both delicious! But my favorite thing was their French Fries. My god were these things mouth watering.
This was a great spot for families who are looking for a friendly environment. The staff were very nice and helpful with finding something we would enjoy from the menu.
I stopped at the Top Notch Diner this morning in Cortland, Ohio. I’ve heard good things and wanted to check it out. When I arrived, the parking lot was very ample, easy to find a parking space. I entered the restaurant and found the seat yourself sign. Seating options are tables, booths or bar, I grabbed a table. The menu is pretty awesome, breakfast, burgers, sandwiches & more. My server was very friendly & polite. I ordered the Scrambler, man was it tasty! I also enjoyed the very relaxing atmosphere, nice way to start the day. I really enjoyed my breakfast here. I would definitely recommend dining here.
Came in for the first time foe breakfast last Sunday. A little busy with few wait staff so we were seated a good while before being noticed. Food came out hot and quick and was very good. The decor leaves a little to be desired with some pretty bold political statements. It's never good to mix business with politics as you run the risk of alienating a lot of paying customers.
Top Notch is a brave name to have, but it is true, the best chicken sandwich around, and the dipsticks with that marinara sauce perfect! Seriously, that marinara is wild! Next time, I'll try breakfast, but man, this place hit the spot!
We just discovered this fabulous place. Came for breakfast and now we won’t go anywhere else for sausage gravy and pancakes. Everything else is delicious and hot when served. The prices are great.The service was amazing and girls very friendly. We definitely recommend eating here.
Food was phenomenal and inexpensive! Big portions, fast service and excellent atmosphere! We had three kids with us and other families also had children so it was very comfortable for families!
Very nice and clean diner. Jennifer was very professional and very nice with a smile on her face. The food came out very fast. Everything was good. The pot roast was very tender, real mashed potatoes and the gravy had good taste. Nothing like local diners. Definitely want to see them. Stay alive as long as they keep their quality up. Very clean, friendly, fast service. We had a hamburger, which was the size if a large man fist. Homemade mashed potatoes and the potion size was double the normal size. Hand cut fries and the potion on them was huge. First time we tried this place, but it will not be the last
