Came in at 8:07pm with two little kids not realizing they'd been closed since 8:00. We were going to leave and the host almost insisted that we stay, not sure he would have let us out of there without feeding the kids.
The food was delicious (especially the chowder) and everybody was so nice from the host to the wait staff, even making chocolate designs in our kid's hot chocolate. Such a good experience for a family with hangry kids.
We probably had the same waiter the last reviewer complained about, a tall Bulgarian kid. We had no complaints, he was very friendly. All the wait staff last night were Bulgarian. They were very nice. These are young kids over here for the summer, they speak fluent "school" English but are probably learning restaurant specific terms. I'm guessing that chocolate milk and omelettes aren't a Bulgarian breakfast staple, they'll figure it out quickly enough.
This was the worst visit here. I didn't like the breakfast selection and asked for a lunch item as the menu states breakfast and lunch 7am-1pm. Waiter said he would need to ask the cook. Didn't bother to take a minute to ask. I asked for a chocolate milk and was asked if I wanted it cold. Boyfriend asked for a ham and cheese omelet. Waiter came back 5 times asking what he wanted on his omelet. Waiter wasn't pleasant at all and needs a lesson in customer service. Manager delivered food to table we asked about a lunch item. He stated they could but at that point didn't want anything. Manager brought it over anyways. That I would say is making it right and excellent customer service.
Great service and food. I had the lobster and swiss omelette with has browns, was surprised it only came with 1 slice of toast. My wife had blueberry pancakes. Food was excellent.
Such a pleasant brunch experience here. There is a really nice covered outdoor area with plenty of tables and space. The menu is quite extensive and had so many good options. Good prices and lovely location.
Delicious food, has dairy free & vegan options. I had a bacon cheeseburger with vegan cheese (yes, I know, but you lactose intolerant peeps know what I'm talking about). It was one of the most delicious burgers I've had in a very long time. A bit pricey but worth it! Bring quarters to feed the fishes!!
Food was delicious! The service was a bit slow when we went, but the servers kindly brought out mini donuts as a snack while the kitchen caught up. We’ll probably come back earlier in the morning next time.
We go to the Top Mast when we stay in the area. Delicious breakfasts, the Portuguese scramble is terrific.
Last night we went for dinner. There was a bus of diners, we decided to sit outside. They were short staffed, and running around like mad. Tony seated us. Even though having a staffing setback he was the ultimate professional, he took our order with a smile, in fact everyone that was working Friday night was smiling and pleasant despite their situation.

Top marks for TopMast! Really love this place. Great attention to details on the takeouts. Such friendly staffs. Iced coffee, tea, Mocha. Lobster, burgers, fries, dips, spaghetti, desserts are all TERRIFIC!!! Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!! Can’t wait to come back!!!!
