Ordered double cheeseburger thinking it was going to be typical bar food.
I was wrong.
These are big burgers and they are delicious.
We were just passing through and needed lunch. We made a great choice!
Food was great. A little slow/busy to get our food in the window of time we had. It was awfully noisy for lunch. Overall a good experience
Small bar in small town. Everyone was friendly. Bartender was sweet. City folks hanging in a farm town and watching the car race was fun.
Holly, our waitress was fabulous. I had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings & my wife had a Swiss mushroom burger & FF. It was one of the best hamburgers ever had. Lots of FF & onion rings are all reasonable priced. Will definitely go back when in West Union
Only one person doing everything. Food was good. Drinks were well poured. Atmosphere was okay. Not too bad for a Thursday night after an event downtown.
Great local bar... if we lived closer (3.5 hours away) we would be regulars.
I was unaware that this place pretty much only retains its name from the previous owners. The new physical location is in the site of what was known as The Longbranch and retains the overall design and feel of that long closed establishment. The menu is short and to the point like the other bars under this ownership. Food is made to order, the place is clean, service is what you would expect. Looks like the booze selection has a few craft selections sprinkled in the Busch Light. I've been to much worse places and would come here again.
The retired City Administrator was there, he's a hoot and Mr Travis German was too, locals were fun!!
