Awesome place to come, hands down if you should him a pic of what you want he will tell you if he can do it or not. I always come once a week to get my haircut.
I went to this place after reading google reviews and man reviews do not do justice, because this place is way more fantastic than review suggested.
Danny is super fast and efficient barber. I liked the nifty custom made trimmers. I took my LO and although it is tough to cut kids hair, Danny was calm and waited patiently when my son was cranky.
It is cheaper for the quality of service that you get. Honestly it is much better than high end barber shops where you pay for aesthetics (of the shop).
Only down side is the wait. There is always some customers there even on weekdays. I went on Monday and there were two people before me. But it is worth the wait and money.
Let's just say he had his hands full my hair was down below my shoulders and I wanted it to be short as it was before so I showed him a picture and he made it better then in the pic he did an awesome jop and the service was great and also he was ferry friendly
Been seeing Danny at Top Fades for a few years now, always pleased with his service. If by chance the next day I find a small spot to go over again he has always been very accommodating(I have a few calic's that can be a pain sometimes).
For me, picking a barber is a difficult choice. I gave him a shot and he now has a customer for life. Excellent service, attitude and all around good atmosphere.
I had a great experience here. I was unsure at first as I drove by a black barber shop on the same street and considered leaving top fades to go there. I came in to a single barber and 3 people ahead of me. The barber was an older man, very friendly.
I asked if he accepted debit/credit cards and was politely told cash only. I walked a few blocks away to a BECU ATM. On my way back I peeked onto the other barbershop on the same street and there were 2 barbers cutting hair and 3 people waiting. I still decided to try out Top Fades. I returned and there were 2 additional people waiting. The barber still cut my hair before the 2 new customers because I told him I was coming back I just needed to get cash. I watched as he finished the 2 people ahead of me and I was very impressed. A simple hair cut for the guy before my took 5 minutes or less and it looked great. For my haircut I wanted a high top skin fade. I showed him a picture and he got to work. I actually enjoyed getting my haircut and it can out looking great. Cost of haircut, beard, shave and line up: $17. That was the price on 9/9/2017. I did tip of course as we all should. I plan on going back every 2 weeks.
HIDDEN GEM! I’m almost hesitant posting this 5 star review as it would attract more people to check this barber out. He is the first elderly Asian man that can fade, line up, and get all the little hairs. I was shocked. I usually go to black barbers for skin fades/line ups. He’s up to par! The price is unbeatable. 15$ for a fade and line up. He truly takes his time to make sure the cut is clean and fresh, doesn’t rush, but also doesn’t take 40 minute for simple cut. If you need haircut, check this barber out, you won’t regret it.
Hands down the best barber in Auburn, Wa. You won’t find a better more understanding barber who’s friendly and takes his time to get your haircut perfect and meet all your needs just the way you want down to a tee. 9/10 times if you show him a haircut you want, he can do it. Very understanding and friendly guy. He’s Asian so at first glance you’d think he doesn’t know how to maybe do your hair properly the way you want it but don’t judge a book by its cover. He’s very skilled with all types of textures and hair from all ethnicities. I’m now a regular and I will continue to support him as long as he’s in the profession and in the Washington area.
